Abstract
Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk buku cerita bergambar berbasis literasi sebagai praktik sosial di sekolah dasar. Budaya literasi yang dikembangkan di Indonesia bertujuan untuk memberantas para tuna aksara agar kehidupan bangsa lebih sejahtera. Literasi sebagai praktik sosial mengandung nilai–nilai yang ada dikehidupan. Literasi perlu dimaknai sebagai praktik sosial yang erat menempel pada keseharian kita. Untuk menanamkan sikap literasi dapat dilakukan melalui buku. Selain dapat mengembangkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis pada anak, kehadiran buku cerita bergambar memiliki kelebihan lain, yakni dapat mengembangkan daya nalar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Reseach and Development dengan modifikasi model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate. Penilaian produk ini melibatkan ahli media, ahli bahasa, ahli materi dan siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Pada uji coba small group yang melibatkan 10 orang siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar mendapatkan rata-rata 95.75% dengan kategori sangat baik, uji coba field test mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 96.80% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan uji validasi dari para ahli mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 97,92% dengan kategori sangat baik. Produk pengembangan buku cerita bergambar berbasis literasi sebagai praktik sosial ini sangat menarik untuk implementasi literasi di sekolah dasar kelas 3. This research and development aims to produce picture story book based on ;iteracy as a social practice in elementary schools. Literacy culture developed in Indonesia aims to eradicate illiterates so that the life of the nation is more prosperous. Literacy as a social practice contains values that exist in life. Literacy needs to be interpreted as a social practice that is closely attached to our daily lives. To instill an attitude of literacy can be done through books. Besides being able to develop the ability to read and write to children, the presence of picture story books has another advantage, which is that it can develop children's reasoning abilities. This research uses the Reseach and Development method with the modification of the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate. This product evaluation involves media experts, linguists, material experts and grade III elementary school students. In a small group trial involving 10 of 3th grade elementary school students, they got an average of 95.75% with a very good category, a field test that got an average of 96.80% with a very good category, and validation tests from experts got average results 97.92% with a very good category. This literacy-based picture book development product as a social practice is very interesting for literacy implementation in elementary school of 3th grade.
