Abstract
Program job fair merupakan salah strategi yang digunakan oleh PT Kalimantan Prima Persada dalam proses rekrutmen guna menjaring calon tenaga kerja yang potensial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pelaksanaan job fair, menganalisis kendala dalam proses rekrutmen, serta menganalisis factor pendukung keberhasilan kandiat yang berasal dari job fair sampai terekrut di PT Kalimantan Prima Persada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa job fair merupakan program rekrutmen yang lebih efektif dari program lain yang ada di PT Kalimantan Prima Persada, kendala yang terjadi adalah maraknya penipuan yang mengatasnamakan rekrutmen PT Kalimantan Prima Persada dan kebutuhan karyawan didominasi oleh kandidat yang berasal dari jenjang pendidikan D3 sedangkan perguruan tinggi banyak yang sudah melakukan peningkatan jenjang Pendidikan dari D3 ke D4, dengan faktor-faktor pendukung terdiri dari kemampuan, pengetahuan, dan kesehatan tubuh dari tiap kandidat. Kata kunci: Rekrutmen, Job fair, Seleksi, Sumber Daya Manusia ***** Abstrak Bahasa Inggris The job fair program is one of the strategies used by PT Kalimantan Prima Persada in the recruitment process to attract potential workers. This study aims to analyze the job fair implementation process, analyze obstacles in the recruitment process, and analyze supporting factors for the success of candidates from the job fair to being recruited at PT Kalimantan Prima Persada. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the job fair is a more effective recruitment program than other programs at PT Kalimantan Prima Persada, the obstacles that occur are the rampant fraud in the name of PT Kalimantan Prima Persada recruitment and employee needs are dominated by candidates from D3 education levels while many universities have increased their education levels from D3 to D4, with supporting factors consisting of the abilities, knowledge, and health of each candidate.
