Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh positif dan signifikan job flexibility, work-life balance, dan pay terhadap job satisfaction dan career choice pada pekerja freelance pengguna platform Upwork di wilayah Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausal melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara daring. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah freelancer pengguna platform Upwork yang berdomisili di wilayah DKI Jakarta dan telah bekerja secara aktif minimal selama enam bulan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode non-probability sampling menggunakan pendekatan purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 252 responden. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner tertutup dengan skala Likert. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS versi 3.0. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengujian outer model dan inner model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan menunjukkan bahwa job flexibility, work-life balance, dan pay secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi job satisfaction pada pekerja freelance Upwork di DKI Jakarta. Selain itu, job flexibility, work-life balance, dan pay juga secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi career choice. Kata kunci: job flexibility, work-life balance, pay, job satisfaction, career choice ****** This study aims to examine and analyze the positive and significant influence of job flexibility, work-life balance, and pay on job satisfaction and career choice among freelance workers using the Upwork platform in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta). This research employs a quantitative method with a causal approach through the distribution of online questionnaires. The population in this study consists of Upwork freelancers residing in DKI Jakarta who have been actively working for at least six months. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, resulting in a total sample of 252 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The analysis techniques used in this study include evaluation of the outer model and inner model. The findings indicate that job flexibility, work-life balance, and pay have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction among Upwork freelancers in DKI Jakarta. In addition, job flexibility, work-life balance, and pay also positively and significantly influence career choice. Keywords: job flexibility, work-life balance, pay, job satisfaction, career choice
