Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penurunan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan TMII akibat ketatnya persaingan bisnis pariwisata. TMII melahirkan inovasi atraksi wisata unggulan yaitu pertunjukkan tari kecak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode pengumpulan data primer hasil pengisian kuesioner dengan 30 sampel uji instrumen dan 329 responden uji hipotesis regresi linier sederhana, dan data sekunder yang berupa rekapan data kunjungan wisatawan TMII. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel pertunjukkan tari kecak terhadap minat kunjungan dengan nilai signifikan 0.868 → artinya 86% menimbulkan dampak positif yaitu kenaikan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan TMII. ***** This research examines the decline in the number of TMII tourist visits due to the tight competition in the tourism business. TMII gave birth to the innovation of superior tourist attractions, namely Kecak dance performances. The method used in this research is to use a descriptive qualitative approach, with primary data collection methods from filling out questionnaires with 30 instrument test samples and 329 simple linear regression hypothesis test respondents, and secondary data in the form of a recap of TMII tourist visit data. The findings of this study indicate a significant influence of the Kecak dance performance variable on visit interest with a significant value of 0.868 → meaning that 86.8% has a positive impact, namely an increase in the number of TMII tourist visits.
