Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi digital mendorong masyarakat, termasuk mahasiswa, untuk lebih terbuka terhadap layanan keuangan berbasis aplikasi seperti E-wallet. Mahasiswa sebagai generasi yang akrab teknologi menjadi segmen potensial pengguna E-wallet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Financial Literacy, Friend Influence, Perceived Ease of Use, dan Perceived Enjoyment terhadap keputusan penggunaan E-wallet oleh mahasiswa di Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 138 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online yang dibagikan lewat media sosial, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) Financial Literacy memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan menggunakan E-wallet; (2) Friend Influence juga terbukti berkontribusi secara positif dan signifikan; (3) Perceived Ease of Use berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap rasa menyenangkan saat menggunakan E-wallet; serta (4) Perceived Enjoyment tersebut turut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan penggunaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya peningkatan literasi keuangan digital, penyusunan strategi pemasaran berbasis pengaruh sosial, serta pengembangan fitur E-wallet yang mudah digunakan dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam pengembangan studi adopsi teknologi keuangan serta kontribusi praktis bagi pengembang layanan E-wallet untuk meningkatkan penggunaan di kalangan mahasiswa. Students, as a tech-savvy generation, are a potential user segment for e-wallets. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, friend influence, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment on students' decisions to use e-wallets in Jakarta. The study employs a quantitative approach with 138 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data for this study were collected via an online questionnaire distributed through social media and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The findings of this study reveal that: (1) Financial literacy has a positive and significant influence on the decision to use e-wallets; (2) Peer influence also contributes positively and significantly; (3) Ease of use has a positive and significant influence on the enjoyment of using e-wallets; and (4) This enjoyment also has a positive and significant influence on the decision to use e-wallets. The implications of this study are the need to enhance digital financial literacy, develop social influence-based marketing strategies, and create E-wallet features that are easy to use and enjoyable. This study contributes theoretically to the development of financial technology adoption studies and practically to E-wallet service developers to increase usage among students.
