Abstract

Perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan berperan penting dalam menjaga keberlangsungan startup digital, terutama di tengah tingginya persaingan dan tantangan inovasi. Meski begitu, tidak semua karyawan menunjukkan perilaku kerja inovatif, dikarenakan adanya risiko kegagalan dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Psychological capital dipandang sebagai sumber daya psikologis yang berpotensi mendukung adanya perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh psychological capital terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan startup digital di Indonesia. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling terhadap 160 partisipan karyawan startup digital. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Skala Perilaku Inovatif dalam Bekerja (Koentary & Qitana, 2022) dan Skala Positive Psychology Capital (Manurung, 2016). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif psychological capital terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan startup digital di Indonesia (p < 0,05). Karyawan dengan psychological capital yang tinggi akan memiliki kepercayaan diri, motivasi untuk menerapkan ide positif, serta ketahanan apabila menghadapi hambatan selama proses perilaku kerja inovatif. ***** Innovative work behavior plays an important role in maintaining the sustainability of digital startups, especially amid intense competition and innovation challenges. However, not all employees demonstrate innovative work behavior due to the risks of failure and resistance to change. Psychological capital is considered a psychological resource that has the potential to support the emergence of employees' innovative work behavior. This study aims to examine the influence of psychological capital on innovative work behavior among digital startup employees in Indonesia. This research employed a quantitative approach with a convenience sampling technique involving 160 digital startup employees as participants. The instruments used were the Innovative Work Behavior Scale (Koentary & Qitana, 2022) and the Positive Psychology Capital Scale (Manurung, 2016). The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show a significant positive influence of psychological capital on the innovative work behavior of digital startup employees in Indonesia (p < 0.05). Employees with high psychological capital tend to have greater self-confidence, motivation to implement positive ideas, and resilience in facing obstacles during the innovation process.
