Abstract

Kontrol diri berperan penting dalam pengambilan keputusan pembelian yang rasional, terutama di tengah trend belanja online melalui TikTok Shop Live Streaming yang populer di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kontrol diri terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Wardah melalui TikTok Shop Live Streaming. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan 306 responden mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Skala Kontrol Diri dan Purchases Decision Making Inventory (PDMI). Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kontrol diri dan keputusan pembelian (p < 0,05). Mahasiswa dengan kontrol diri tinggi cenderung melakukan pembelian secara rasional, sedangkan yang rendah lebih mudah tergoda promosi dan bersikap impulsif. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kontrol diri dalam mendukung keputusan pembelian yang bijak serta rasional. ***** Self-control plays an important role in making rational purchasing decisions, especially amid the trend of online shopping through TikTok Shop Live Streaming, which is popular among university students. This study aims to determine the influence of self-control on purchasing decisions of Wardah products through TikTok Shop Live Streaming. This research used a quantitative method involving 306 student respondents. The instruments used were the Self-Control Scale and the Purchases Decision Making Inventory (PDMI). The results of simple linear regression analysis showed a positive and significant influence between self-control and purchasing decisions (p < 0.05). Students with high self-control tend to make rational purchasing decisions, while those with low self-control are more easily influenced by promotions and tend to buy impulsively. These findings highlight the importance of self-control in supporting wise and rational purchasing decisions.
