Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat kunjung ulang wisatawan (revisit intention) pada destinasi ekowisata. Curug Cikondang sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata alam di Kabupaten Cianjur memiliki potensi besar, namun belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh destination image, novelty seeking, tourist experience, dan perceived risk terhadap tourist satisfaction, serta dampaknya terhadap revisit intention wisatawan pada objek ekowisata Curug Cikondang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian adalah wisatawan yang pernah berkunjung ke Curug Cikondang, dengan sampel sebanyak 280 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert enam poin dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak AMOS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa destination image, novelty seeking, dan tourist experience berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tourist satisfaction, sedangkan perceived risk berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap tourist satisfaction. Selain itu, tourist satisfaction terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap revisit intention. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kepuasan wisatawan merupakan faktor kunci yang memediasi hubungan antara persepsi wisatawan terhadap destinasi dengan niat untuk berkunjung kembali. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan agar pengelola dan pemerintah daerah memperkuat citra destinasi melalui promosi digital yang menonjolkan keaslian dan keamanan alam, meningkatkan pengalaman wisata melalui fasilitas edukatif dan petualangan yang aman, serta mengurangi persepsi risiko dengan penyediaan sarana keselamatan yang memadai. Dengan strategi tersebut, Curug Cikondang berpotensi menjadi destinasi ekowisata unggulan berbasis keberlanjutan. ***** This research is motivated by the need to understand the factors influencing tourists’ revisit intention in ecotourism destinations. Curug Cikondang, located in Cianjur Regency, West Java, holds significant potential as a nature-based tourist attraction but remains underdeveloped. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of destination image, novelty seeking, tourist experience, and perceived risk on tourist satisfaction, and its subsequent effect on revisit intention at Curug Cikondang Ecotourism Site. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed. The study population consists of tourists who have visited Curug Cikondang, with a sample of 280 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a six-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 26 software. The findings indicate that destination image, novelty seeking, and tourist experience have positive and significant effects on tourist satisfaction, while perceived risk has a negative and significant effect. Moreover, tourist satisfaction positively and significantly influences revisit intention. These results confirm that tourist satisfaction serves as a key mediating factor linking tourists’ perceptions of the destination to their intention to revisit. Based on these findings, it is recommended that destination managers and local authorities enhance destination image through digital promotion emphasizing authenticity and safety, improve visitor experience with educational and adventure-based facilities, and reduce perceived risks by providing adequate safety infrastructure. These strategies are expected to strengthen Curug Cikondang’s position as a sustainable ecotourism destination.
