Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat Person–Job Fit pada lulusan S1 Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan UNJ yang telah bekerja di sektor konstruksi, pendidikan, dan non-linier, menggunakan aspek Demands–Abilities Fit dan Needs–Supplies Fit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan analisis tabulasi silang (crosstab). Populasi penelitian adalah lulusan S1 Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan UNJ yang lulus tahun 2022-2024 (semester 116-120) yang telah bekerja di berbagai sektor dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 168 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunkaan total sampling, dengan responden yang berpartisipasi sebanyak 91 lulusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat Person–Job Fit lulusan PTB UNJ tergolong tinggi. Pada aspek Demands–Abilities Fit, subindikator keterampilan (skills) memperoleh nilai tertinggi, yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan teknis lulusan relevan dengan tuntutan pekerjaan, khususnya di sektor pendidikan dan konstruksi. Sementara itu, pada aspek Needs–Supplies Fit, subindikator pencapaian tujuan menjadi yang tertinggi, menandakan bahwa pekerjaan yang dijalani telah mampu memenuhi aspirasi profesional dan kesejahteraan psikologis lulusan. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh hasil wawancara yang menunjukkan bahwa lulusan mampu beradaptasi dalam berbagai sektor kerja, baik yang linier maupun non-linier dengan bidang keilmuannya. Berdasarkan hasil tabulasi silang, lulusan baru (fresh graduate) dengan pengalaman kerja kurang dari dua tahun memiliki tingkat kesesuaian yang lebih tinggi yaitu 45,1% pada aspek Demands–Abilities Fit, sedangkan lulusan dengan masa kerja lebih lama menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian yang lebih tinggi 100% pada aspek Needs–Supplies Fit. Kata Kunci: Person–Job Fit, Lulusan PTB UNJ, Sektor Pekerjaan, Fresh Graduate ***** This study aims to describe the level of Person–Job Fit among UNJ Building Engineering Education graduates who have worked in the construction, education, and non-linear sectors, using the aspects of Demands–Abilities Fit and Needs–Supplies Fit. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design and cross-tabulation analysis. The research population consists of UNJ Building Engineering Education graduates who graduated in 2022-2024 (semesters 116-120) and have worked in various sectors, with a total population of 168 people. The sampling technique used total sampling, with 91 graduates participating as respondents. The results of the study show that the level of Person–Job Fit among UNJ PTB graduates is relatively high. In terms of Demands–Abilities Fit, the sub-indicator of skills received the highest score, indicating that the technical abilities of graduates are relevant to job demands, particularly in the education and construction sectors. Meanwhile, in terms of Needs–Supplies Fit, the sub-indicator of goal achievement was the highest, indicating that the jobs held were able to fulfill the professional aspirations and psychological well-being of graduates. This finding is reinforced by the interview results, which show that graduates are able to adapt to various work sectors, both linear and non-linear to their fields of study. Based on the cross-tabulation results, new graduates with less than two years of work experience have a higher level of suitability, namely 45.1% in terms of Demands–Abilities Fit, while graduates with longer working periods show a higher level of suitability of 100% in terms of Needs–Supplies Fit.
