Abstract
BSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh social capital dan intellectual capital terhadap kinerja Usaha ultra mikro dengan innovation sebagai variabel mediasi dan managerial ability sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui pendekatan Partial Least SquaresStructural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan Smart PLS 4.0. Data diperoleh dari 204 Pelaku Usaha Ultra Mikro (UMi) bidang usaha kuliner di Bekasi melalui kuesioner berskala Likert. Hasil analisis PLS-SEM menunjukkan bahwa social capital dan intellectual capital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap innovation dan kinerja pelaku UMi, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai Tstatistics > 1,96 dan P-values < 0,05. Social capital berpengaruh kuat terhadap inovasi dan juga meningkatkan kinerja pelaku UMi, sedangkan intellectual capital merupakan konstruk paling dominan dalam peningkatan kinerja pelaku Umi dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi. Inovasi juga terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pelaku UMi, dan memediasi pengaruh social capital dan intellectual capital terhadap kinerja pelaku Umi secara signifikan. Sebaliknya, managerial ability tidak terbukti memoderasi pengaruh social capital terhadap kinerja pelaku Umi, meskipun tetap memberikan pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pelaku UMi. Penelitian ini memperkuat konsep Resource-Based Theory, bahwa modal sosial dan modal intelektual menjadi sumber daya strategis bila ditransformasikan melalui inovasi. Secara praktis, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan jejaring sosial, literasi pengetahuan, digitalisasi usaha, inovasi produk, dan pelatihan manajerial untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha ultra mikro. Kata Kunci: Social Capital, Intellectual Capital, Innovation, Managerial Ability, Kinerja Pelaku UMi ****** BSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effects of social capital and intellectual capital on the performance of ultra-micro enterprises (UMi), with innovation as a mediating variable and managerial ability as a moderating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0. The data were collected from 204 ultra-micro culinary business actors in Bekasi through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results of the PLS-SEM analysis indicate that social capital and intellectual capital have positive and significant effects on innovation and the performance of ultra-micro enterprises, as evidenced by Tstatistics > 1.96 and P-values < 0.05. Social capital exerts a strong influence on innovation and contributes to the improvement of UMi performance. Meanwhile, intellectual capital emerges as the most dominant construct in enhancing UMi performance and also has a significant effect on innovation. Furthermore, innovation significantly affects UMi performance and plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between social capital and performance as well as between intellectual capital and performance. In contrast, managerial ability does not moderate the effect of social capital on UMi performance, although it still has a significant direct effect on performance. These findings reinforce the Resource-Based Theory, emphasizing that social capital and intellectual capital become strategic resources when effectively transformed through innovation. Practically, this study recommends strengthening social networks, knowledge literacy, business digitalization, product innovation, and managerial training to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of ultra-micro enterprises.
