Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan deskripsi secara jelas tentang wujud Konfik Batin Tokoh Utama yang terdapat dalam Novel “As-syahhadz” (Pengemis) karya Naguib Mahfoudz. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Fokus penelitian ini mengenai konflik batin tokoh utama terhadap istri, konflik batin tokoh utama terhadap anak, konflik batin tokoh utama terhadap temannya (mustofa), dan konflik batin tokoh utama terhadap wanitanya yang lain dalam Novel “As-Syahhadz” Karya Naguib Mahfoudz. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dengan dibantu oleh tabel klasifikasi tentang Konflik Batin berdasarkan bentuknya. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui terdapat 30 data yang mencakup konflik batin antara ego dengan id, dan konflik batin antara ego dan superego, dengan perincian sebagai berikut : Konflik batin antara ego dengan id terdapat dua puluh dua (22) data, yang terdiri dari : konflik batin tokoh utama dengan istri sepuluh (10) data dan semuanya merupakan masalah percintaan, konflik batin tokoh utama dengan anak satu (1) data itu merupakan masalah mengurus anak, konflik batin tokoh utama dengan teman enam (6) data dan itu termasuk dalam masalah hubungan pertemanan, dan konflik batin tokoh utama dengan wanita lain ada lima (5) data dan itu merupakan masalah percintaan. Adapun konflik batin antara ego dengan superego terdapat delapan (8) data, yang terdiri dari : konflik batin tokoh utama dengan istri tiga (3) data dan semua itu merupakan masalah percintaan, konflik batin tokoh utama dengan anak satu (1) data yang merupakan masalah mengurus anak, konflik batin tokoh utama dengan teman empat (4) data yang terkait dengan permasalahan hubungan dalam pertemanan. ********************** This study aims to obtain a clear description of the main character inner conflict in the Novel "As-Syahhadz" (beggar) by Naguib Mahfoudz. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with the method of content analysis. The focus of this research on the character's inner conflict on wives, the main character's inner conflict on children, the main character inner conflict against his friend (Mustofa), and the main character inner conflict against other women in the Novel "As-Syahhadz" by Naguib Mahfoudz. This research instrument is self-research assisted by a classification table of inner conflict based on its form. From the research results can be known there are 30 quotations (evidence) that includes the inner conflict between the Ego and the Id, and the inner conflict between the Ego and Superego, with the following details: The inner conflict between the ego and the ID there are twenty-two (22) data, consisting of: the inner conflict of the main character with the Wives Ten (10) data and all is a matter of romance, the inner conflict of the main character with the child one (1) data was a matter of caring for the child, the inner conflict of the main character with a friend six (6) data and that included in the problem of friendship relationship. As for the inner conflict between the ego with Superego there are eight (8) data, consisting of: the inner conflict of the main character with the wife of three (3) data and all that is a matter of romance, the inner conflict of the main character with the child one (1) data that is the problem of child care.
