Abstract
ABSTRAK PUTRI SEPTIANINGRUM. Peranan Kepercayaan (Trust) sebagai Mediasi Kepemimpinan Guru (Teacher’s Leadership) dengan Kinerja Siswa (Students Performance): Studi Kausal terhadap Siswa SMA Negeri di Jakarta. Dibawah bimbingan Prof. Dr. I Made Putrawan dan Ade Suryanda, S.Pd., M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan guru terhadap kinerja siswa yang dimediasi oleh kepercayaan. Oleh karena itu, digunakan metode survei kausl dengan memilih secara acak 76 siswa SMA di Jakarta. Terdapat tiga instrumen yang telah dikembangkan untuk mengukur tiap variabel meliputi kepemimpinan guru (27 item, rel .855), kepercayaan (28 item, rel .859) dan kinerja siswa (24 item, rel .720). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan guru berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap kinerja siswa, kepemimpinan guru berpengaruh langsung tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kepercayaan, kepercayaan berpengaruh langsung tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja siswa dan kepemimpinan guru tidak berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja siswa melalui kepercayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan bukanlah variabel mediasi yang baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam upaya meminimilkan variasi kinerja siswa, faktor seperti kepemimpinan guru perlu dipertimbangkan. Hal ini mengimplikasikan bahwa kebijakan sekolah mungkin paling baik dikembangkan dengan menempatkan kepemimpinan guru dan kinerja siswa sebagai prioritas dalam menjaga kualitas kinerja siswa, terutama selama pendemi. The Role of Trust as Mediation between Teacher’s Leadership and Students Performance: Causal Study on Students of SMA Negeri at Jakarta. Underupervised by Prof. Dr. I Made Putrawan and Ade Suryanda, S.Pd., M.Si. The reasearch was aimed to findingout the effect of teacher’s leadership on students performance mediated by trust. Therefore, a causal survey method used by selecting randomly 76 senior high school students in Jakarta. Data analyzed by path analysis. There were three instruments measured, Teacher’s Leadership (27 items, rel .872), Trust (28 items, rel .859) and Students Performance (24 items, rel .720). The research result showed that Teacher’s Leadership directly and significantly affected on Students Performance, Teacher’s Leadership directly but not significantly affected on Trust, Trust directly but not significantly affected on Students Performance and Teacher’s Leadership not affected on Students Performance indirectly through Trust. The research results revealed that trust was not a good mediated variable. Therefore, it could be concluded that in trying to minimize the variation of Students Performance, factor such as teacher’s leadership can be considered. This would imply that a school policy might be best developed by putting teacher’s leadership and students performance as a priority in maintaining the students performance quality, especially during the pandemic.
