Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi dari berbagai sumber tertulis terkait model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking chips terhadap peningkatan kemampuan bahasa lisan siswa dengan hambatan penglihatan. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan model analisis konten, melibatkan 25 artikel dan 12 buku. Data penelitian yang digunakan berupa data sekunder bersumber dari buku cetak, kumpulan jurnal, penelitian terdahulu dan website yang relevan. Hasil kajian literatur menunjukkan: (1) penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking chips menjadi inovasi baru dalam proses pembelajaran siswa dengan hambatan penglihatan; (2) adanya perbedaan kemampuan bahasa lisan siswa hambatan penglihatan yang low vision dengan totally blind. Hasil penelitian mengimplikasikan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking chips bisa menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa lisan siswa dengan hambatan penglihatan. This research aims to gain information from various written sources related to cooperative learning model of talking chips types in improving oral language skills of students with visual impairments. This research was conducted using a content analysis based literature review, involving 25 articles and 12 books. The research data used is in the form of secondary data taken from printed books, a collection of journals, previous researches and relevant websites. The results of the literature review show: (1) the use of cooperative learning model of talking chips types becomes a new innovation in the learning process of students with visual impairments; (2) there are differences in the oral language skills between students with visual impairments low vision and totally blind. The results of this research implied that cooperative learning model of talking chips types could serve as alternative to improve the oral language skills of students with visual impairments.
