Abstract

Tujuan survei ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat keterampilan forehand drive dan backhand drive murid Club Soerabaja Tenis Academy dengan subyek penelitian adalah murid club yang berjumlah 10 murid yang terdiri dari 6 putra dan 4 putri, pengumpulan data menggunakan Total Sampling yaitu pengambilan data semua murid, pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan tes keterampilan forehand drive dan backhand drive permainan tenis. Setelah dilakukan analisisi data penelitian, maka dapat diketahui hasil dari tes diperoleh bahwa 10% dengan jumlah 1 murid termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, 20% dengan jumlah 2 murid termasuk dalam kategori baik, 30% dengan jumlah 3 murid termasuk dalam kategori cukup, 20% dengan jumlah 2 murid termasuk dalam kategori kurang, 20% dengan jumlah 2 murid termasuk dalam kategori sangat kurang. Dari dari data survei ini dapat dilihat tingkat keterampilan murid guna menimbulkan rasa semangat, kesenangan dan motivasi dalam pembelajaran keterampilan forehand drive dan backhand drive permainan tenis pada murid dan menjadikan pedoman bagi pembina maupun Pelatih untuk bisa melihat kesulitan maupun kemudahan murid dalam mengikuti kegiatan permainan tenis, dan untuk Peneliti bermanfaat sebagai bahan acuan terutama penelitian yang berkaitan dengan hubungan antara keterampilan forehand drive dan backhand drive dengan permainan tenis. The purpose of this survey was to describe the skill level of the forehand drive and backhand drive of the Soerabaja Tenis Academy students with the research subjects totaling 10 students consisting of 6 boys and 4 girls, data collection using total sampling which is data collection for all students, the implementation of research using the skills test forehand drive and backhand drive of tennis games. After analyzing the research data, it can be seen that the results of the test showed that 10% with 1 student included in the very good category, 20% with 2 students included in the good category, 30% with 3 students included in the sufficient category, 20% with 2 students in the poor category, 20% with 2 students in the very poor category. From this survey data, it can be seen that the level of students skills in order to generate a sense of enthusiasm, fun and motivation in learning the skills of forehand drive and backhand drive in tennis games for students and as a guide for coaches to be able to see the difficulties of students participating in game tennis activities, and for researchers it is useful as reference material, especially research related to the relationship between forehand drive skills and backhand drive with the game of tennis.
