Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap keterampilan pukulan bunt. (2) Hubungan antara koordinasi mata tangan terhadap keterampilan pukulan bunt. (3) Hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata tangan terhadap keterampilan pukulan bunt pada Klub Softball Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pengambilan data dilakukan di Laboratorium Somatokinetika Fakultas Ilmu Olahraga Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada tanggal 8 April 2019 dan Amerindo Batting Cage Sunter pada tanggal 10 April 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan studi korelasi, sampel yang digunakan yaitu mahasiswa klub olahraga prestasi softball sebanyak 20 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode pusposive sampling. Teknik pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi sederhana yang dilanjutkan dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikasi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap keterampilan pukulan bunt, dengan persamaan garis linier Ŷ = 15,83 + 0,683X1, koefisien korelasi ry1 = 0,683 dan koefisien determinasi (ry1) 2 = 0,466, yang berarti variabel kekuatan otot lengan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pukulan bunt sebesar 46,6%. (2) Terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara koordinasi mata tangan terhadap keterampilan pukulan bunt, dengan persamaan garis linier Ŷ = 13,52 + 0,644X2, koefisien korelasi ry2 = 0,637 dan koefisien determinasi (ry2) 2 = 0,406, yang berarti variabel koordinasi mata tangan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pukulan bunt sebesar 40,6%. (3) Terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata tangan terhadap keterampilan pukulan bunt, dengan persamaan garis linier Ŷ = 7,25 + 0,478X1+ 0,377X2, koefisien korelasi Ry1-2 = 0,721 dan koefisien determinasi (Ry1-2 )2 = 0,52, yang berarti variabel kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata tangan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pukulan bunt sebesar 52%. *********** This study aims to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination to the bunt hit skills on the softball club at Jakarta state university. Data collection was performed in the Laboratory Somatokinetika Faculty of Sport Science, State University of Jakarta and Amerindo Batting Cage Sunter in April 2019. Data collection this research is used quantitative methods with correlated studies, while the technique used is purposive sampling methods. In this study the sample used is a student achievement softball sports club as many as 20 people. Data were taken using test and measurement techniques. Data studies show a significant relationship between arm muscle strength with the bunt hit skills, with coefficient correlation (ry1) = 0,683 and coefficient determination (ry1 2 ) = 0,466 which means a variable in the arm muscle strength contributed to the bunt hit by 46,6%. The relationship between hand eye coordination with the bunt hit skills, with coefficient correlation (ry2) = 0,637 and coefficient determination (ry2 2 ) = 0,406 which means a variable in the hand eye coordination contributed to the bunt hit by 40,6%. The relationship between arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination with the bunt hit skills, with coefficient correlation (ry1-2) = 0,721 and coefficient determination (ry1-2) 2 = 0,52 which means a variable in the arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination contributed to the bunt hit by 52%.
