Abstract

Masa darurat penyebaran Covid 19 di Indonesia membuat pemerintah menerapkan kebijakan pendidikan yakni pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar dari rumah. Kebijakan ini membuat siswa harus beradaptasi agar kegiatan belajar tetap berjalan optimal. Pada proses belajar biologi, motivasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Motivasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah persepsi siswa terhadap kegiatan belajar dari rumah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi siswa terhadap kegiatan belajar dari rumah dengan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 48 Jakarta dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 siswa kelas XI MIPA yang dipilih melalui teknik Simple Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi siswa terhadap kegiatan belajar dari rumah dengan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi. Tingkat hubungan termasuk dalam kriteria rendah, oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa tidak hanya dengan meningkatkan persepsi siswa melainkan banyak faktor lain yang mempengaruhi, karena motivasi belajar dapat timbul dari dalam diri individu (intrinsik) dan dari luar individu (ekstrinsik). *********** The emergency period for the spread of Covid 19 in Indonesia made the government implement an education policy, namely the implementation of learning activities from home. This policy makes students have to adapt so that learning activities continue to run optimally. In the process of learning biology, motivation is needed to achieve learning objectives. Learning motivation is influenced by several factors, one of which is student perceptions of learning activities from home. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between student perceptions of learning activities from home with student learning motivation in biology subjects. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational study. The population of this study were students of Jakarta State Senior High School 48 with a total sample of 125 students of class XI MIPA selected through the Simple Random Sampling technique. The results of the study reveal that there is a positive correlation between student perceptions of learning activities from home and student learning motivation in biology subjects. The correlation level is included in the low criteria, therefore increase student learning motivation is not only by increasing student perceptions but many other factors that influence, because learning motivation can arise from within the individual (intrinsic) and from outside the individual (extrinsic).
