Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai peduli sosial yang terdapat dalam Film Battle of Surabaya dan mengetahui bagaimana Film Battle of Surabaya dapat dijadikan media dalam menyampaikan nilai peduli sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Sumber data yang digunakan terbagi menjadi dua yaitu data primer yang berasal dari Film Battle of Surabaya dan wawancara dengan informan. Data sekunder dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari studi literatur. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data; 1) pengumpulan data, 2) reduksi data, 3) analisis isi, 4) penyajian data, dan 5) penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan studi literatur, studi dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan informan. Teknik keabsahan yang digunakan adalah dengan triangulasi dan ketekunan pengamatan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapa nilai-nilai peduli sosial dalam Film Battle of Surabaya yang meliputi 1) kasih sayang yang terdiri dari pengabdian, kekeluargaan dan tolong menolong, 2) tanggung jawab yang terdiri dari empati dan disiplin, dan 3) keserasian hidup yang terdiri dari toleransi, kerja sama dan keadilan. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya ditemukan bahwa di dalam Film Battle of Surabaya terdapat pesan dan nilai yang disampaikan kepada penonton sehingga memunculkan pemahaman dari penonton terhadap Film Battle of Surabaya dan memunculkan respon yang berupa tanggapan terhadap pesan yang terkandung dalam Film Battle of Surabaya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah nilai peduli sosial dalam Film Battle of Surabaya meliputi pengabdian terhadap negara, rasa sayang kekeluargaan, saling tolong menolong, rasa empati terhadap sesama, disiplin dalam mengerjakan tugas, toleransi dari perbedaan, kerja sama bangsa dan keadilan yang mencakup hak-hak orang lain. Film Battle of Surabaya juga dapat dijadikan media untuk menyampaikan nilai peduli sosial berdasarkan stimulus yang mudah diterima sehingga menimbulkan respon berupa tanggapan akibat dari menonton film. The purpose of this study is to analyze the values of social care contained in the Film Battle of Surabaya and find out how the Battle of Surabaya movie can be used as a media to convey the value of social care. This type of research is qualitative research by using the method of content analysis. The source of the data used was divided into two, namely primary data comes from the Battle of Surabaya movie and interviews with informants. Secondary Data in this study were obtained from the literature study. This study uses data analysis techniques; 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) content analysis, 4) presentation of data, and 5) conclusion. Data collection techniques used is with the study of literature, the study of documentation and interviews with informants. The technique of validity used is triangulation and perseverance observations. The results of the research show that there exist values of social care in the Battle of Surabaya movie which includes 1) compassion consisting of devotion, of kinship and mutual help, 2) responsibility, which consists of empathy and discipline, and 3) the harmony of life consisting of tolerance, cooperation and justice. The results of subsequent research found that in the Battle of Surabaya movie there is a message and the value delivered to the audience, so bring an understanding of the audience of the Battle of Surabaya movie and elicits a response in the form of responses to the messages contained in the Battle of Surabaya movie. The conclusion of this research is the value of social care in the Battle of Surabaya movie includes devotion to the country, the affection of a family, helping each other, a sense of empathy for others, discipline in the task, tolerance of differences, the work of the same nation and justice which includes the rights of others. Battle of Surabaya movie can also be used as a media to convey the value of social care based on the stimulus that is easily accepted that cause a response in the form of responses a result of watching the film.
