Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa melalui penerapan metode tutor sebaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan rendahnya kecerdasan kinestetik siswa dengan metode imitatif yang sebelumnya diterapkan di pelatihan Sanggar Purnama Bekasi dalam mempelajari materi dan pelatih tidak memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk bekerjasama serta berinteraksi satu sama lain. Dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa dalam menari Tari Lenggang Bekasi diperlukannya penerapan metode tutor sebaya, agar siswa dapat saling berinteraksi satu sama lain, dapat membantu kesulitan yang dialami teman sebayanya dan dapat menarikan Tari Lenggang Bekasi dengan aspek basic movement, physical abilities, perseptual abilities, dan nondicursive communication. Metodelogi penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan (action research). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta pelatihan di sanggar Purna Bekasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, pengamatan dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan menggunakan desain penelitian dari Kemmis dan McTaggart dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil pretest pada kondisi awal penelitian, peserta pelatihan memiliki nilai rata-rata 2,2. Siklus 1 dengan nilai rata-rata 3,4 dan pada siklus 2 nilai rata-rata 4,2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada penerapan metode tutor sebaya kecerdasan kinestetik pada pelatihan tari Lenggang Bekasi di Sanggar Purnama Bekasi dapat meningkat dan sesuai dengan tujuan pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode tutor sebaya sangat baik untuk diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa di Sanggar Purnama Bekasi dalam menarikan Tari Lenggang Bekasi karena pembelajaran dilakukan bersama teman sebayanya sehingga proses pelatihan menjadi menyenangkan dan siswa menjadi termotivasi dalam mempelajari Tari Lenggang Bekasi. Kata Kunci: Metode Tutor Sebaya, Kecerdasan Kinestetik, Pelatihan, Tari Lenggang Bekasi. *********** ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of students' kinesthetic intelligence through the application of peer tutoring methods. This research was conducted with the low kinesthetic intelligence of students with the imitative method that was previously applied in the training of Sanggar Purnama Bekasi in studying the material and the trainer did not provide opportunities for students to cooperate and interact with each other. In improving students' kinesthetic intelligence in dancing the Bekasi Lenggang Dance, it is necessary to apply the peer tutor method, so that students can interact with each other, can help the difficulties experienced by their peers and can dance the Lenggang Bekasi Dance with aspects of basic movement, physical abilities, perceptual abilities, and non-cursive communication. The research methodology used is action research. The subjects of this study were trainees at the Purna Bekasi studio. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, observations and literature study. This research was conducted in 2 cycles using a research design from Kemmis and McTaggart with the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Based on the results of the pretest on the initial conditions of the study, the trainees had an average score of 2.2. Cycle 1 with an average value of 3.4 and in cycle 2 the average value of 4.2. Based on the results of research on the application of the kinesthetic intelligence peer tutoring method to the Lenggang Bekasi dance training at Sanggar Purnama Bekasi, it can be increased and in accordance with the training objectives. The results showed that the application of the peer tutoring method was very good to be applied in improving the kinesthetic intelligence of students at Sanggar Purnama Bekasi in dancing the Bekasi Lenggang Dance because learning was carried out with their peers so that the training process became fun and students became motivated in learning the Bekasi Lenggang Dance.
