Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil Penerapan Pola Ritme Tumbao pada Permainan Conga dalam Lagu Necesitas Tu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian yaitu di Rumah peneliti yaitu Jalan Raya Cifor Gang Damai 4 No. 66 Bubulak Bogor dan kediaman pakar Iwan Wiradz yang dilaksanakan di Apartmen Sudirman Park. Adapun penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan bulan Juni 2021. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Basic dari Latin Cuban yang paling populer adalah pola tumbao. Pola tumbao adalah pola dasar permainan conga pada musik salsa. Secara keseluruhan terdapat 4 (empat) teknik yang digunakan pada pola tumbao seperti heel, fingertip/toe, slap, dan open tone. Pada lagu Necesitas Tu terdapat dua jenis variasi pola tumbao yaitu: variasi I dan variasi II. Pola ritme tumbao variasi I merupakan pola asli atau original dari pola ritme tumbao sedangkan pola ritme tumbao variasi II merupakan pola pengembangan dimana pada birama ke-2 teknik open tone yang dibunyikan terdapat 2 jenis karakter suara yaitu suara middle dan suara low. Lagu Necesitas Tu karya Blue Mambo dapat disimpulkan memiliki 9 (Sembilan) susunan bagian yakni: intro, main theme, development section, interlude, solo, intro, main theme, development section, dan coda. Bagian yang memiliki variasi pola ritme tumbao lebih dari satu adalah bagian development section. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk mendalami istrument conga yang menjadi minat didalam mengembangkan keahlian perkusi. Lembaga pendidikan musik agar menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai agar mahasiswa semakin giat dalam mengeksplorasi instrument conga, agar mahasiswa termotivasi mengingkatkan kemampuan atau skill dalam mengolah istrument perkusi latin maupun perkusi etnik nusantara. Kata kunci: Pola Ritme, Tumbao, Conga, Lagu Necesitas Tu ******** The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the Rhythm Pattern Application Tumbao in theGame Conga in the Song Necesitas Tu. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The place of research is at the researcher's house, namely Jalan Raya Cifor Gang Damai 4 No. 66 Bubulak Bogor and the residence of the resource person Iwan Wiradz which was held at the Sudirman Park Apartment. This research was carried out from October 2020 to June 2021. The results of the study it can be concluded that the most popular Basic of Latin Cuban is the tumbao pattern. The tumbao pattern is the basic pattern for playing conga in salsa music. Overall there are 4 (four) techniques used in the tumbao pattern such as heel, fingertip/toe, slap, and open tone. In the song Necesitas Tu there are two types of variations of the tumbao pattern, namely: variation I and variation II. The tumbao rhythm pattern variation I is the original pattern or the original tumbao rhythm pattern while the tumbao rhythm pattern variation II is a development pattern where in the 2nd bar the open tone technique sounds there are 2 types of sound characters, namely middle voice and low voice. It can be concluded that the song Necesitas Tu by Blue Mambo has 9 (nine) parts, namely: intro, main theme, development section, interlude, solo, intro, main theme, development section, and coda. The section that has more than one variation of the tumbao rhythm pattern is the development section. The implication of the results of this study is to explore conga instruments that are of interest in developing percussion skills. Music education institutions are to provide adequate facilities so that students are more active in exploring conga instruments, so that students are motivated to improve their abilities or skills in processing Latin percussion instruments as well as Indonesian ethnic percussion.
