Abstract
Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Alam Indonesia (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk memperoleh keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kelompok masyarakat yang berpartisipasi dalam peningkatan mutu Sekolah Alam Indonesia (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta terdiri dari orang tua siswa yang tergabung dalam Dewan Sekolah dan Dewan Kelas, orang tua siswa secara keseluruhan, alumni, lembaga swadaya masyarakat (LSM) serta masyarakat sekitar, (2) Peran partisipasi masyarakat dalam peningkatan mutu Sekolah Alam Indonesia (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta pada Dewan Sekolah dan Dewan Kelas sebagai perwakilan orang tua siswa di SAI terdapat 3 peran yaitu pembina, pengawas dan pelaksana. Peran orang tua siswa secara keseluruhan adalah mensupport dan berkolaborasi dengan sekolah dalam berbagai kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM). Peran alumni dilibatkan dalam kegiatan dalam kelulusan siswa SAI, untuk sharing bagaimana kegiatan setelah lulus dari SAI, pengalaman kuliah atau pengalaman kerja dan pengalaman berorganisasi. Peran lembaga swadaya masyarakat (LSM) menyediakan fasilitas kegiatan seperti konsumsi dan transportasi), bantuan pendanaan kegiatan baik kegiatan sosial maupun kegiatan lingkungan, sebagai tim edukasi masyarakat, dan narasumber dalam kegiatan siswa dan guru. Peran masyarakat sekitar adalah memberikan dukungan terhadap kegiatan sekolah.(3) Bentuk-bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Alam Indonesia (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta yaitu partisipasi sebagai pengurus Dewan Sekolah dan Dewan Kelas, dalam kegiatan-kegiatan sekolah, dan berasal dari eksternal Sekolah Alam Indonesia (SAI), Cipedak Jakarta.(4) Strategi Sekolah alam Indoenesia (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta dalam meningkatkan partipasi masyarakat antara lain adalah menjalin komunikasi yang efektif dengan orang tua dan masyarakat dan melibatkan masyarakat dalam program sekolah. Kata kunci: peran, partisipasi masyarakat, mutu sekolah The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the form of community participation in improving the quality of education at the Indonesian Natural School (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta. This research method is qualitative with a phenomenological study design. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. To obtain the validity of the data, data triangulation was carried out. The results of this study indicate that (1) Community groups that participate in improving the quality of the Indonesian Natural School (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta consist of parents of students who are members of the School Board and Class Council, parents of students who are members of the School Board and Class Council. overall, alumni, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the surrounding community, (2) The role of community participation in improving the quality of the Indonesian Natural School (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta on the School Board and Class Council as representatives of parents of students in SAI there are 3 roles, namely coach , supervisors and implementers. The role of parents as a whole is to support and collaborate with schools in various teaching and learning activities (KBM). The role of alumni is involved in activities in the graduation of SAI students, to share how activities after graduating from SAI, college or work experiences and organizational experiences. The role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is to provide activity facilities such as consumption and transportation), funding assistance for activities both social and environmental activities, as a community education team, and resource persons in student and teacher activities. The role of the surrounding community is to provide support for school activities. (3) The forms of community participation in improving the quality of education at Sekolah Alam Indonesia (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta are participation as administrators of the School Board and Class Council, in school activities, and comes from from external the Indonesian Natural School (SAI), Cipedak Jakarta. (4) The strategy of the Indonesian Natural School (SAI) Cipedak, Jakarta in increasing community participation includes establishing effective communication with parents and the community and involving the community in school programs.
