Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) Mengetahui bisnis online yang dijalankan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada masa pandemi covid-19, (2) Mengetahui faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Jakarta memilih berbisnis online pada masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2017-2018 yang aktif berbisnis online pada masa pandemi covid-19. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Bisnis online yang dijalankan mahasiswa dari segi produk, produk yang ditawarkan mayoritas berupa produk makanan didasari oleh minat para mahasiswa, memiliki dengan kualitas terbaik dan memiliki desain khusus baik dalam bentuk kemasan atau pricelist. Dari segi harga, memiliki harga terjangkau, pembayaran menggunakan e-wallet dan transfer bank dengan waktu pembayaran beragam. Dari segi ditribusi/tempat, yaitu penjualan secara online seperti pada media sosial dan marketplace, ketersediaan produk yaitu pre-order dan tersedia, dan pengiriman melalui pengantaran pribadi dan ekspedisi. Dari segi promosi, mayoritas mahasiswa mempromosikan produk berupa gambar atau video menarik yang dibagikan pada media sosial. Kemudian adanya perubahan kebijakan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini tidak begitu terpengaruh terhadap mayoritas bisnis online yang dijalankan oleh mahasiswa. (2) Faktor penyebab mahasiswa memilih berbisnis online pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini disebabkan oleh mahasiswa senang terhadap bisnis, mendapatkan penghasilan, motivasi dan dorongan ekonomi dari orangtua maupun keluarga serta melihat peluang bisnis pada masa pandemi covid-19 dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya yang ada. Kata Kunci : Bisnis Online, Mahasiswa, Pandemi Covid-19 This study aims to: (1) Knowing the online business run by students of the Social Sciences Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta during the covid-19 pandemic, (2) Find out the factors that cause students of the Social Sciences Education Study Program of the State University of Jakarta to choose to do business online during the covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at the State University of Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The subjects in this study were students of the Social Studies Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta, class of 2017-2018 who were actively doing online business during the covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study indicate that (1) Online businesses run by students in terms of products, most of the products offered are in the form of food products based on student interests, have the best quality and have special designs in the form of packaging or price lists. In terms of price, it has affordable prices, e-wallet payments and bank transfers with different payment times. In terms of distribution/location, namely online sales such as on social media and marketplaces, product availability, namely pre-order and available, and delivery via personal delivery and expeditions. In terms of promotion, the majority of students promote products in the form of attractive images or videos that are shared on social media. Then the policy changes made by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic were not so affected by online businesses run by students, (2) The factors that cause students to choose to do business online during the covid-19 pandemic are caused by students being happy with business, getting income, motivation and economic encouragement from parents and family as well as seeing business opportunities during the covid-19 pandemic by utilizing resources.
