Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Cempaka Putih Barat 17 Pagi Senen Jakarta Pusat, penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2016 s/d Desember 2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa terhadap matematika melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cempaka Putih Barat 17 Pagi Senen Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu dokumentasi, observasi dan kuesioner (angket). Hasil analisis data siklus I pertemuan pertama aktivitas guru memiliki nilai persentase 75,00%, pertemuan kedua 77,50%, dan pertemuan ketiga 82,50%. Nilai persentase aktivitas siswa pertemuan pertama 73,75%, pertemuan kedua 76,25%, dan pertemuan ketiga 81,25%. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama persentase aktivitas guru mencapai 90,00%, pertemuan kedua 95,00%, dan pada pertemuan ketiga 98,75%. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus II pada pertemuan pertama aktivitas siswa memiliki nilai persentase 87,50%, pertemuan kedua 93,75%, dan pada pertemuan ketiga 97,50%. Hasil analisis data konsep diri siswa pada siklus I mencapai persentase 60% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu mencapai persentase 88%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri siswa terhadap matematika meningkat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. This research was conducted in Cempaka Putih Barat SDN 17 Pagi Senen Central Jakarta, this study was conducted in month September 2016 s/d in month Desember 2016. This research aims to improve the self-concept of students towards mathematics through problem-based learning model of fourth grade students of SDN Cempaka Putih Barat 17 Pagi. This study uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Data collection tool used by researchers that documentation, observation and questionnaires (questionnaire). The results of the data analysis of the first cycle of the first meeting of teachers activities have a percentage of 75.00%, the second meeting of 77.50%, and the third meeting of 82.50%. The percentage value of student activity first meeting of 73.75%, the second meeting of 76.25%, and the third meeting of 81.25%. At the first meeting of the second cycle of the of teachers activities reached percentage 90.00%, the second meeting of 95.00%, and 98.75% at the third meeting. Activity of students in the second cycle at the first meeting of student activity has a value of percentage 87.50%, the second meeting of 93.75%, and 97.50% at the third meeting. The results of the data analysis of the concept of self-esteem in the first cycle reaches a percentage of 60% and the second cycle has increased significantly, reaching the percentage of 88%. It can be concluded that the self-concept of students towards mathematics increased by using problembased learning model.
