Abstract

Kemampuan analisis merupakan hasil berfikir yang kompleks dengan memanfaatkan unsur pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan aplikasi, sehingga dibutuhkan kesadaran mengenai pengaturan kemampuan berfikir itu sendiri, yang disebut sebagai kemampuan metakognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan analisis dengan kemampuan metakognitif mahasiswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Januari-Februari 2015 di Jurusan Biologi UNJ. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 153 mahasiswa angkatan 2013-2011 Jurusan Biologi UNJ dipilih secara acak. Skor rata-rata kemampuan analisis adalah 67,15 dan skor rata-rata kemampuan metakognitif adalah 58,72. Berdasarkan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji Levene, data dinyatakan normal dan homogen. Hasil uji linieritas dan regresi diperoleh model regresi sederhana Ŷ= 45,970+ 0,190X yang bersifat signifikan (α=0,05) dan memiliki hubungan linier. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan Pearson Product Moment diperoleh koefisien korelasi berkekuatan sedang (rxy=0,588) dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,00 (0,00<0,05) dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan analisis dengan kemampuan metakognitif mahasiswa.Hasil perhitungan kofisien determinasi adalah 0,312 yang berarti kontribusi kemampuan analisis terhadap kemampuan metakognitif mahasiswa sebesar 31,2%. ******* Analysis ability is the result of complex thinking by utilizing elements of knowledge, comprehension, and application, so it takes awareness on setting the ability think, that ability is called metacognitive. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between analysis ability and metacognitive ability of biology student collage. This study was conducted in January-February 2015 in the Department of Biology UNJ. The method of this study was descriptive method with a correlation study. These samples included 153 studentes collage from 2013 to 2011 Department of Biology UNJ randomly selected. The mean score was 67.15 and analysis ability mean score was 58.72 metacognitive ability. Based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Levene test, the data revealed normal and homogeneous. Linearity and regression test results obtained by a simple regression model Ŷ = 45.970 + 0,190X that is significant (α = 0.05) and had a linear relationship. Based on the hypothesis test with Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient magnitude moderate (r xy = 0.588) and a significant value of 0.00 (0.00 <0.05) so that it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between analysis ability and metacognitive ability biology student collage. The result of the calculation coefficient of determination is 0.312, which means contributing to the analysis ability and metacognitive ability of students by 31.2%.
