Abstract
***** At the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic entered Indonesia which had an impact on life, especially in the field of education. Jakarta State University (UNJ) stated that the implementation of face-to-face lectures should be changed to Distance Learning (PJJ) using the existing platform. The construction of learning buildings at UNJ is one of the reasons for implementing PJJ. Prior to this pandemic, both lecturers, employees and students had not done PJJ as a whole, so teaching materials for PJJ were still lacking, such as learning videos. Learning videos in the form of routing and switching are loaded on multiple platforms Engineering Education Programs not many research-based Informatics and Computer simulation materials routing and switching course the Computer Network Design The development of this video tutorial uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method with the development of Luther–Sutopo by referring to the principles of multimedia design, namely the principles of coherence, segmentation, and modality. The resulting product is a video tutorial with a duration of 1 hour 3 minutes 46 seconds by getting a 100% material expert assessment based on Arikunto's theory "Very Eligible", then getting a media expert assessment of 93.33% based on Arikunto's "Very Eligible" theory, and testing by 39 respondents got a score of 89.37% based on Arikunto's theory in the "Very Eligible" category.
