Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode pembelajaran mind mapping berbantuan media gambar terhadap pengetahuan peserta didik pada Kompetensi Dasar Menganalisis Hidangan Penutup melalui Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 38 Jakarta pada bulan Maret – Juni 2022. Metode penelitian adalah Quasi Experiment dengan desain Non-equivalent control group design. Penerapan metode mind mapping berbantuan media gambar akan dilakukan melalui bantuan aplikasi canva dan zoom meeting saat PJJ. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan menentukan kelompok sampel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan treatment yang berbeda antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik Kelas XI Boga II sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan total 33 peserta didik, dan kelas XI Boga I sebagai kelas kontrol dengan total 35 peserta didik. Hasil analisis data pre-test yang menggunakan uji Independent T test diperoleh uji T hitung = -0,992 dengan signifikansi (0,186)>0,05 maka tidak ada perbedaan pengetahuan awal peserta didik yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kemudian nilai post-test memperoleh uji T hitung = 2,263 dengan signifikansi (0,027) < 0,05 maka terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan peserta didik setelah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis data nilai pre- test dan post-test pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan uji paired T-test menunjukan signifikansi (0,000) < 0,05 maka Ha diterima, peningkatan pengetahuan peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,42 dalam kategori sedang dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,29 dalam kategori rendah maka disimpulkan terjadi pengaruh yang lebih baik dari penerapan metode pembelajaran mind mapping berbantuan media gambar terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan peserta didik pada kompetensi dasar menganalisis hidangan penutup melalui PJJ dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah bervariasi. ***** This study aims to analyze the effect of mind mapping learning methods assisted by image media on students' knowledge of the Basic Competence of Analyzing Dessert through Distance Learning. The research was held at SMK Negeri 38 Jakarta from March – June 2022. The research method was Quasi Experiment with a Non-equivalent control group design. The application of the mind mapping method assisted by image media will be carried out through the help of the Canva application and the zoom meeting during distance learning. Sampling uses the purposive sampling technique by determining sample groups based on certain criteria, data collection is done by giving different treatments between the experimental class and the control class. The research sample was students of Class XI Culinary II as the experimental class with a total of 33 students, and Class XI Culinary I as the control class with a total of 35 students. The results of the pre-test data analysis using the Independent T-test, it was obtained that the T-test = -0.992 with a significance of (0.186)>0.05, so there was no significant difference in the student's prior knowledge between the experimental class and the control class, then the post-test score. obtained a T-test = 2.263 with a significance of (0.027) <0.05 then there is a difference in the knowledge of students after being given treatment. The results of the analysis of the hypothesis test of the pre-test and post-test values in the experimental class and control class using the paired T-test showed a significance (0.000) <0.05 then Ha was accepted, the increase in student's knowledge in the experimental class was 0.42 in the medium category and the control class of 0.29 in the low category, it was concluded that there was a better effect of the application of the image-assisted mind mapping learning method on increasing students' knowledge on the basic competence of analyzing desserts through distance learning compared to the varied lecture method.
