Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Efektivitas Literasi Digital Dalam Self Directed Learning Di Kalangan Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Angkatan 2018 Pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pada pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampling jenuh atau sampling sensus yang mana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 81 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan mahasiswa tingkat akhir angkatan 2018 Pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Jakarta telah menerapkan metode self directed learning bersama dengan teacher directed learning sejak berada di semester tiga dan empat perkuliahan. Adanya pandemi Covid-19 membuat metode self directed learning menjadi metode yang lebih dominan diterapkan di kalangan mahasiswa tingkat akhir selama proses mengerjakan skripsi. Adapun metode self directed learning didukung dengan memanfaatkan literasi digital yang mana tingkat kemampuan mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam memanfaatkan literasi digital dilihat dari aspek-aspek literasi digital yang meliputi kreativitas (creativity), berpikir kritis (critical thinking), kolaborasi (collaboration), kemampuan memilih dan memilah informasi (finding and selecting), keterampilan fungsional (functional skills). ***** This study uses a descriptive method that aims to describe the effectiveness of digital literacy in independent learning in final year students of Social Studies Education 2018 State University of Jakarta. Sampling in this study used saturated sampling or census sampling where all members of the population were sampled with 81 research subjects. Based on research, it shows that final year students of Social Studies Education, State University of Jakarta batch 2018 have implemented independent learning methods along with teacher-directed learning since they were in the third and fourth semesters of lectures. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has made the independent learning method a more dominant method to be applied among final year students during the process of working on a thesis. The self-directed learning method is supported by utilizing digital literacy where the level of final year students' ability to utilize digital literacy is seen from digital literacy aspects which include creativity (creative), critical thinking (critical thinking), collaboration (collaboration), the ability to choose and sorting information (finding and selecting), functional skills (functional skills).
