Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi secara empiris mengenai strategi pengembangan karakter komunikatif melalui pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini dimulai pada bulan Maret hingga April 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 9 informan diantaranya yaitu 6 peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 SMA N 76 Jakarta dan Kepala Sekolah. Sedangkan informan kuncinya yaitu Guru PPKn dan Kelengkapan data didukung oleh pendapat ahli. Temuan Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 SMA N 76 Jakarta memiliki karakter Komunikatif verbal dan noverbal, diantaranya yaitu kesantunan dalam berbahasa lisan maupun tulisan, saling menghargai pendapat antar teman dan memiliki etika dalam berbicara. Kemudian, untuk mengembangkan karakter komunikatif guru menerapkan beberapa strategi diantaranya yang pertama, melalui pendekatan kepada Peserta didik guna menjalin komunikasi yang baik sehingga antara guru dengan Peserta didik menjadi akrab. Kedua, penggunaan bahasa yang mudah dimengerti. Ketiga, membiasakan pembelajaran dialogis dengan diskusi kelas atau kelompok, dengan adanya pembiasaan tersebut menjadikan Peserta didik lebih aktif, interaktif, dan komunikatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Karakter komunikatif pada peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 SMA N 76 Jakata yaitu Komunikatif verbal dan noverbal yang dapat terbentuk melalui beberapa strategi diantaranya yaitu dengan pendekatan kepada peserta didik, penggunaan bahasa yang mudah dipahami, dan pembiasaan pembelajaran dialogis. ***** The purpose of the research is to get the empirical information about communicative character building strategy to Civic Learning. It started in March to April 2022. The research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. The procedure of data collection is carried out within observation,interview and documentary study The reseach involves 9 participants as the source of the information, six students of class XI IPS 1 and the principal of SMAN 76 Jakarta, and the key informan is the Civic teacher supported by some experts. The research has found that students of class XI IPS 1 SMA N 76 Jakarta have a verbal and noverbal communicative character, including politeness in oral and written language, respecting each other's opinions between friends and having ethics in speaking. Then, to form a communicative character, the teacher applies several strategies including the first, approach for the students has some purposes, to create good communication between teacher and students. Second, using understandable language. Third,get used to dialogical learning method and group discussion in order to create the active, interactive and communicative students. The communicative character that has been formed in Class XI IPS 1 is communicative verbal as in politeness of oral or wriiten communication. For the non verbal communicative are the appreciation of each opinion and the ethics on spoken. The conclusion of the research is communicative character can be performed through several strategies including the approach to students, understandable language and habituation of dialogical learning.
