Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan mind mapping pada pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran sejarah. Serta memaparkan bagaimana dampak penerapan mind mapping pada pembelajaran daring di mata pelajaran sejarah. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menguraikan hambatan penerapan mind mapping pada pembelajaran daring di mata pelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian terdiri dari guru pelajaran sejarah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, kepala sekolah dan siswa kelas XI. Alasan peneliti mengambil informan penelitian kelas XI karena mereka telah mengalami proses belajar di SMA Quantum Inti Indonesia selama dua tahun dan mereka telah terbiasa dalam menggunakan metode mind mapping dalam proses pembelajaran. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di SMA Quantum Inti Indonesia, Cibubur, Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini berlangsung sejak 1 Agustus 2021 hingga April 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode mind mapping di SMA Quantum Inti Indonesia diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sejarah secara daring. Pada kegiatan pembelajaraan daring guru menerapakan metode mind mapping untuk meringkas materi selanjutnya guru menginstruksikan peserta didik untuk membuat mind mapping dalam proses pembelajaran. Mind mapping dapat dibuat secara manual dan juga digital. Mind mapping digital dibuat dengan bantuan aplikasi seperti x-mind dan mind mup untuk manual dibuat menggunakan spidol warna dan kertas kosong dengan topik utama berada ditengah kertas kemudian membuat cabang lain dengan menggunakan garis lengkung dan memberikan warna. Sedangkan, langkah pembuatan mind mapping digital tidak jauh berbeda dengan mind mapping manual, hanya saja lebih mudah karena dapat memilih berbagai bentuk dan gambar secara otomatis. Penerapan metode mind mapping dalam pembelajaran daring mengalami beberapa hambatan pertama, gaya belajar siswa yang beragam acap kali menjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan metode mind mapping. Kedua, siswa mengalami kesulitan menemui poin penting. Ketiga memerlukan waktu yang lama. Terdapat beberapa dampak penerapan metode mind mapping yang siswa rasakan diantaranya lebih mudah memahami materi, lebih mudah mengingat sebuah peristiwa penting dalam pembelajaran sejarah, dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, menciptakan pembelajaran sejarah yang efektif dalam artian guru dan siswa dapat mencapai tujuan dari pembelajaran, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan meningkatkan hasil ***** This study aims to describe how the application of mind mapping in online learning in history subjects. As well as explaining how the impact of the application of mind mapping on online learning in history subjects. In addition, this study also describes the obstacles to the application of mind mapping in online learning in history subjects. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research informants consisted of teachers of history lessons, vice principals for curriculum, principals and students of class XI. The reason the researchers took research informants for class XI was because they had experienced the learning process at SMA Quantum Inti Indonesia for two years and they were accustomed to using mind mapping methods in the learning process. The location of the research was at SMA Quantum Inti Indonesia, Cibubur, Bekasi, West Java. This research took place from August 1, 2021 to April 2022. The results showed that the mind mapping method at SMA Quantum Inti Indonesia was applied in online history learning activities. In online learning activities the teacher applies the mind mapping method to summarize the material, then the teacher instructs students to make mind mapping in the learning process. Mind mapping can be created manually or digitally. Digital mind mapping is made with the help of applications such as x-mind and mind mup for manual made using color markers and blank paper with the main topic in the middle of the paper then making other branches using curved lines and giving colors. Meanwhile, the steps for making digital mind mapping are not much different from manual mind mapping, it's just that it's easier because it can choose various shapes and images automatically. The application of the mind mapping method in online learning experiences several obstacles, first, the diverse learning styles of students often become obstacles in the implementation of the mind mapping method. Second, students have difficulty finding important points. Third, it takes a long time. There are several impacts of applying the mind mapping method that students feel including easier understanding of the material, easier to remember an important event in history learning, can increase student creativity, create effective history learning in the sense that teachers and students can achieve the goals of learning, increase learning motivation. students and improve student learning outcomes.
