Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan data tentang proses dan hasil penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat mengembangkan kreativitas. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kurangnya kreativitas siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Tari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dari Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Dua siklus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Setiap siklus terdapat empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan (Planning), tindakan (Action) dan pengamatan (Observing), serta refleksi (Reflecting). Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Februari sampai Juni 2022 di SMP Negeri 38 Bekasi, Jawa Barat, melalui pembelajaran Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa hasil angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada materi menciptakan pola lantai beserta maknanya meningkatkan sikap kreativitas siswa berdasarkan hasil pada pra siklus 36.3, siklus I meningkat 63.1, dan siklus II menjadi 97 Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada materi penciptaan pola lantai beserta maknanya untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa berhasil dan mengalami peningkatan pada setiap individu siswa. *** The research aims to produce data about the process and results of applying the Discovery Learning learning model to develop creativity. The problem in this study is the lack of student creativity in dance extracurricular activities. This study uses the method of classroom action research (CAR) from Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Two cycles were used in this study. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, action and observation, and reflection. The research took place from February to June 2022 at SMP Negeri 38 Bekasi, West Java, through learning. Data was collected through data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model to the material creating floor patterns and their meanings increased students' creative attitude based on the results in the pre-cycle 36.3, the first cycle increased 63.1, and the second cycle became 97. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the Discovery Learning learning model in the material for creating floor patterns and their meanings to increase student creativity is successful and has increased in each individual student.
