Abstract

Suatu pembelajaran akan berhasil tidak terlepas dari peran tutor sebagai pendidik disekolah. Dalam proses pembelajaran dibutuhkan sosok pendidik yang dapat memberikan stimulus dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Pendidikan kesetaraan paket C merupakan pendidikan yang menaungi peserta didik yang tidak dapat melanjutkan sekolah di sekolah formal atau putus sekolah. Sekolah Master Indonesia salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang menaungi anak putus sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mendeskripsikan keadaan terkait peran tutor dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak putus sekolah pada program pendidikan kesetaraan paket C di Sekolah Master Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan mengutip dari buku Prof. Dr. A. Muri Yusuf, M.Pd yang berjudul “Metode Penelitian Kuantitatif, Kualitatif & Penelitian Gabungan” pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tutor belum optimal dalam memberikan perannya memotivasi peserta didik. Dapat dilihat bahwa tutor hanya menjalankan 6 yaitu sebagai informator, sebagai motivator, sebagai pembimbing/pengarah, sebagai insiator, sebagai fasiltator, sebagai mediator dari 8 sebagai organisator dan sebagai evaluator indikator peran pendidik. ***** A learning will succeed not regardless of the role of the tutor as an educator. In the learning process there is a need for an educator to provide a stimulus in improving the learner's learning motivation. The equality education paket c is a screened education for learners who cannot continue school at formal schools or drop out. Sekolah Master Indonesia one of the institutions of education overshadowing dropouts. The study aims to explore and describe the tutor- related circumstances in improving the motivation for children to learn dropouts on the package c education program at the Indonesian master school. The study USES qualitative methods with a descriptive approach study type. It USES observation, interview, and documentary techniques. The data analysis used quotes from the book Prof. Dr. A. muri Joseph, m. pd, entitled "quantitative, qualitative & combined research" data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification of data. Data validity tests were made using source triangulation. Studies indicate that the tutor is not optimal in giving his role motivates learners. It can be seen that the tutor operates only 6 as an informator, as a motivator, as a guide/director, as an artist, as a mediator from 8 as the organizer and as an indicator of the role of the educator.
