Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Trait Kepribadian Big Five Personality Terhadap Perilaku Cyberloafing Pada Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 200 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Accidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua alat ukur, yaitu Instrumen Big Five Inventory yang disusun oleh Neila Ramdhani (2012) untuk mengukur trait big five dan Cyberloafing Academic Scale yang disusun oleh Akbulut (2016) untuk mengukur perilaku cyberloafing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trait kepribadian openness to experience memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku cyberloafing, sedangkan trait conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, dan neuroticsm tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku cyberloafing. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the Big Five Personality Traits on Cyberloafing Behavior in Jakarta State University Students. The research method used is a quantitative method. The sample in this study amounted to 200 people who were selected using accidental sampling technique. This study uses two measuring tools, namely the Big Five Inventory Instrument compiled by Neila Ramdhani (2012) to measure the big five trait and the Cyberloafing Academic Scale compiled by Akbulut (2016) to measure cyberloafing behavior. The results showed that the personality trait of openness to experience had an influence on cyberloafing behavior, while the traits of conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism had no effect on cyberloafing behavior.
