Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian berdasarkan indikator dimensi kualitas produk dan prinsip desain. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 5 produk blazer dengan konsep modular design yang dinilai berdasarkan teori dimensi kualitas produk dan teori prinsip desain. Penilaian diukur menggunakan skala rating scale. Hasil penilaian pada indikator dimensi kualitas produk dinilai sangat baik, dengan nilai tertinggi diperoleh pada aspek fitur (features), hal ini karena penempatan komponen blazer serta kemampuan blazer dalam memperpanjang siklus hidup pakaian dinilai sangat baik penerapannya. Nilai terendah terdapat pada aspek kesesuaian kualitas (conformance quality), hal tersebut karena penggunaan material produk masih perlu dikembangkan kembali. Hasil penilaian pada indikator prinsip desain memperoleh hasil sangat baik. Aspek keseimbangan (balance) mendapat nilai tertinggi, hal ini karena produk blazer memiliki bobot visual yang sama. Aspek penekanan (emphasis) mendapat nilai terendah dalam penelitian ini, hal ini karena desain produk blazer hanya memiliki satu warna sehingga pusat perhatian produk masih kurang terlihat. ***** This study aims to obtain an assessment based on product quality dimension indicators and design principles. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research design pre-experimental design, one shot case study. This research produced 5 blazer products with a concept modular design which is assessed based on the theory of product quality dimensions and the theory of design principles. Assessment is measured using a scale rating. The results of the assessment on product quality dimension indicators are considered very good, with the highest score ofbtained on the feature aspect, this is because the placement of blazer components and the ability of blazers to extend the life cycle of clothing are considered to be very well implemented. The lowest score is in the aspect of conformance of quality, it is because the use of product materials still needs to be developed again. The results of the assessment on the design principle indicators obtained very good results. The balance aspect gets the highest score, this is because blazer products have the same visual weight. The emphasis aspect got the lowest score in this study, this is because the blazer product design only has one color so the center of attention of the product is still less visible
