Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan properti psikometri instrumen silence mahasiswa saksi kecurangan akademik yang telah dimodifikasi menggunakan pemodelan Rasch serta menguji validitas diskriminannya dengan instrumen kepuasan perkuliahan mahasiswa. Instrumen silence yang dimodifikasi pada penelitian ini berasal dari adaptasi instrumen employee silence oleh Knoll dkk. (2021). Sedangkan instrumen kepuasan perkuliahan diambil dari dimensi kepuasan sekolah pada Multidimensional Student’s Life Satisfaction Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Huebner (1994). Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 774 orang yang terdiri dari mahasiswa aktif perguruan tinggi Indonesia berusia 18-24 tahun. Analisis yang dilakukan menghasilkan nilai unidimensi sebesar 61,6% atau berkategori istimewa, koefisien alpha cronbach sebesar 0.95 dengan kategori sangat tinggi, nilai item fit pada masing-masing butir yang memenuhi sedikitnya 2 kriteria serta koefisien korelasi sebesar <0.2 antara masing-masing dimensi silence dengan kepuasan perkuliahan. Dengan demikian, instrumen silence mahasiswa saksi kecurangan akademik layak untuk digunakan karena memiliki properti psikometri yang memadai dan terbukti memiliki validitas diskriminan. This study aims to obtain the psychometric properties of the modified silence of student who witness academic cheating instrument using Rasch model and to test its discriminant validity with college satisfaction construct. The modified silence instrument in this study came from an adaptation of the employee silence instrument by Knoll et al. (2021). Meanwhile, the college satisfaction instrument is taken from student’s satisfaction dimension on the Multidimensional Student’s Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Huebner (1994). The sample in this study amounted to 774 Indonesian active students aged 18-24 years. The analysis that has been done produces a unidimensional value of 61.6% or is in the excellent category, a cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.95 with a very high category, the fit value on each item that meets at least 2 criterias, and correlation coefficient of <0.2 between each dimension of silence and college satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that this instrument is worthy to use because of its adequate psychometric properties and its discriminant validity evidence.
