Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui salah satu kegiatan dari program corporate social responsibility (CSR) yang dimiliki oleh PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) di bidang pendidikan yaitu kegiatan Magang Guru Program Sekolah Binaan United Tractors (SOBAT). Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan evaluasi secara mendalam yang jarang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dari kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan metode evaluasi context, input, process, dan poduct dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksakana pada bulan Maret—Juni 2023. Peneltian dilakukan dengan melakukan wawnacra terhadap lima orang peserta kegiatan Magang Guru, yaitu HAS, AAN, YRN, HKU, dan N. Dan satu orang person in charge SOBAT, yaitu DAW sebagai triangulasi data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan survei yang digunakan sebagai data pelengkap. Kerangka konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah evaluasi context, input, process, dan product, analisis strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, dan threats, capacity building, CSR, Magang Guru, dan program SOBAT. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa kegiatan Magang Guru telah seusai dalam membantu para guru dalam meningkatkan kapasistas diri mereka untuk kegiatan belajar dan mengajar. Kegiatan yang berfokus pada upskilling dan reskilling keilmuan guru telah memberikan ilmu-ilmu baru kepada guru menmgenai dunia teknik alat berat. Para guru yang sebelumnya kesulitan dalam mengajar karena alat praktik yang terbatas menjadi lebih percaya diri ketika mengajar. Ketika mengikuti kegiatan magang, para peserta mendapatkan secara inclass seperti safety, K3, bahaya limbah, dan lainnya. Para peserta juga mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menjadi helper para mekanik pada kegiatan outclass untuk memperbaiki unit alat berat yang sedang dalam perawatan. Meningkatbnya kapasitas para peserta juga didukung oleh sarana dan prasaranan UT yang mumpuni, serta sumber daya manusia UT yang berkompeten dan sesuai dengan standar iduka. ***** This study aims to determine one of the activities of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program owned by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) in the education sector, namely the Sekolah Binaan United Tractors (SOBAT) Teacher Internship activity. In addition, this research also aims to provide an in-depth evaluation which is rarely done by companies from the activities that have been carried out. This research is an evaluation research with context, input, process, and product evaluation methods using a qualitative approach. The research was conducted in March-June 2023. The research was conducted by conducting interviews with five participants in the Teacher Internship activities, namely HAS, AAN, YRN, HKU, and N. And one person in charge, SOBAT, namely DAW as data triangulation. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and surveys which were used as complementary data. The conceptual framework used in this study is the evaluation of context, input, process, and product, analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, capacity building, CSR, Teacher Internship, and the SOBAT program. The results of the study show that the Teacher Internship activities have been successful in assisting teachers in increasing their capacity for teaching and learning activities. Activities that focus on upskilling and scientific reskilling of teachers have provided teachers with new knowledge about the world of heavy equipment engineering. Teachers who previously had difficulty in teaching because of limited practical tools became more confident when teaching. When participating in internship activities, the participants receive in-class methods such as safety, K3, waste hazards, and others. The participants also had the opportunity to become helpers for mechanics in out-class activities to repair heavy equipment units that were under maintenance. The increased capacity of the participants is also supported by qualified UT facilities and infrastructure, as well as UT human resources who are competent and in accordance with iduka standards.
