Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi keragaman budaya Indonesia kelas XI di SMAN 3 Tangerang. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen menggunakan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan model random sampling karena seluruh kelas xi ips sama tidak ad akelas unggulan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 143 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 69 siswa yaitu XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang akan menggunakan model problem based learning dan XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data pada penilitian ini yaitu uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Dari hasil penelitian kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif yang signifikan dengan perolehan rata-rata dari 74,8 menjadi 86,9. Sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami penurunan perolehan rata-rata dari 74,3 menjadi 72,3. Kesimpulan ini didukung dengan perolehan nilai sig pada uji-t sebesar 0,00 maka nilai sig<0,05. Ha menyatakan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata materi keragaman budaya Indonesia kelas XI di SMAN 3 Tangerang diterima dan Ho yang menyatakan tidak terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi keragaman budaya Indonesia kelas XI di SMAN 3 Tangerang ditolak. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of using Problem Based Learning as a teaching method on students' learning outcomes in the topic of Indonesian cultural diversity for Grade XI at SMAN 3 Tangerang. This research falls under the category of quantitative research with an experimental approach, using both a control group and an experimental group. The sampling technique employed in this study is random sampling, with a population of 143 students. The sample size used in this research consists of 69 students, where XI IPS 1 serves as the experimental group, which will use Problem Based Learning, and XI IPS 3 serves as the control group, using lecture-based teaching method. The data analysis techniques used in this study include, prerequisite test, and hypothesis test. The results of the study show that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with an average score increasing from 74.8 to 86.9. On the other hand, the control group experienced a decrease in the average score from 74.3 to 72.3. This conclusion is supported by the obtained significance value (sig) of the t-test, which is 0.00, indicating that sig < 0.05. Thus, Ha, which states that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning method on students' learning outcomes in the topic of Indonesian cultural diversity for Grade XI at SMAN 3 Tangerang, is accepted, while Ho, which states that there is no influence of the Problem Based Learning method on students' learning outcomes in the topic of Indonesian cultural diversity for Grade XI at SMAN 3 Tangerang, is rejected.
