Abstract

Rahma Larasati. Kondisi Sosioemosional Peserta Didik Dengan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Tunggal Otoriter Di SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. Proposal Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Fakultas Ilmu Sosial. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Kondisi Sosioemosional Peserta Didik Dengan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Tunggal Otoriter di SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. Metode penelitian ini adalah Kualitatif. Melalui teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Guru dan Peserta didik dengan latar belakang orang tua tunggal otoriter, subjek dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa, 1) Pola asuh orang tua tunggal otoriter berdampak pada kondisi sosioemosional yang tidak baik, peserta didik menunjukan perilaku anti sosial. 2) Pola asuh orang tua tunggal otoriter memberikan dampak negatif bagi perilaku sosial peserta didik. Menyebabkan kenakalan remaja dan tidak dapat tercapainya Interaksi sosial yang baik. 3) Pola Asuh yang efektif bagi peserta didik dengan pola asuh orang tua tunggal adalah pola asuh yang cenderung mengandung nilai-nilai demokratis. Pola asuh ini mendasari tindakannya pada pemikiran. Pola asuh demokratis juga bersikap realistis terhadap kemampuan peserta didik. 4) Pola asuh orang tua berperan penting dalam proses pembentukan kecerdasan sosioemosional peserta didik yang akan diwujudkan pada sikapnya. This study aims to identify and describe the Socioemotional Conditions of Students with Authoritarian Single Parent Parenting at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. This research method is Qualitative. Through data collection techniques with observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The subjects of this study were teachers and students with authoritarian single parent backgrounds, the subjects were selected through purposive sampling. The results of the study concluded that 1) Authoritarian single parent parenting style has an impact on socio-emotional conditions that are not good, students show anti-social behavior. 2) Authoritarian single parent parenting style has a negative impact on students' social behavior. Causing juvenile delinquency and unable to achieve good social interaction. 3) Parenting that is effective for students with single parent parenting is parenting that tends to contain conversion values. This parenting style is based on actions on thoughts. Democratic parenting also assesses realistically the abilities of students. 4) Parenting style plays an important role in the process of forming students' socio-emotional intelligence which will be manifested in their attitudes.
