Abstract

ABSTRAK Yunia Indah Lestari, PENGARUH KEGIATAN PEMBIASAAN LITERASI MEMBACA TERHADAP MINAT BACA BUKU FIKSI SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 137 JAKARTA, Skripsi, Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kegiatan pembiasaan literasi membaca terhadap minat baca buku fiksi siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 137 jakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Total populasi sebanyak 214 siswa dan total sampel sebanyak 140 siswa kelas VII. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan pengujian prasyarat analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, dihasilkan nilai uji t dengan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan thitung 10,117 > ttabel 1,977, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ha diterima yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kegiatan pembiasaan literasi membaca terhadap minat baca buku fiksi siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 137 jakarta. Kemudian berdasarkan analisis linier sederhana yang digunakan yaitu Y = 11,233 + 0,847X, dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap penambahan 1 nilai variabel bebas (X) Kegiatan Pembiasaan Literasi Membaca, maka akan meningkatkan nilai variabel terikat (Y) Minat Baca Buku Fiksi sebesar 0,847. Hasil pengujian korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,653. Koefisien korelasi bernilai positif, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa arah pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y adalah positif. Berdasarkan dari perhitungan koefisien determinasi didapatkan nilai pengaruh kegiatan pembiasaan literasi membaca terhadap minat baca buku fiksi siswa sebesar 42,6%. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of reading literacy habituation activities on interest in reading fiction books for class VII students at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey approach with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The total population is 214 students and the total sample is 140 class VII students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. Based on the prerequisite testing of data analysis and testing of the hypotheses that have been carried out, the t-test values are produced with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 and tcount 10.117 > ttable 1.977, it can be concluded that ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence between basic literacy habituation activities on interest reading fiction books for class VII students at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. Then based on the simple linear analysis used, namely Y = 11.233 + 0.847X, it can be concluded that each additional 1 value of the independent variable (X) reading Literacy Habituation Activities will increase the value of the dependent variable (Y) Interest in Reading Fiction Books by 0.847. The results of the correlation test show that the correlation coefficient is r = 0.653. The correlation coefficient is positive, so it can be concluded that the direction of the influence of variable X on variable Y is positive. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination, the effect value of reading literacy habituation activities on students' reading interest in fiction books is 42.6% .
