Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penggunaan media Quizizz untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas VII-E yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik di SMP Negeri 97 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan tiga siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: Perencanaan Tindakan (planning), Pelaksanaan Tindakan (acting), Observasi (observing), dan Refleksi (reflecting). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada hasil belajar terjadi peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus 1 sebesar 42% (15 peserta didik mencapai nilai di atas KKM 72) dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 67, siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 67% (24 peserta didik mencapai nilai di atas KKM 72) dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 77, dan siklus 3 menjadi 83% (30 peserta didik mencapai nilai di atas KKM 72) dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 82. Selain hasil belajar yang meningkat, keaktifan peserta didik pada setiap siklusnya juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus 1 persentase keaktifan peserta didik sebesar 0% untuk peserta didik yang sangat aktif dalam aspek kemampuan bertanya, menjawab pertanyaan, berpendapat, dan bekerja sama. Selanjutnya siklus 2 peserta didik yang sangat aktif mengalami kenaikan yaitu 28% bertanya, 44% menjawab pertanyaan, 33% berpendapat, serta 36% untuk bekerja sama. Terakhir pada siklus 3 meningkat dengan persentase sebesar 36% bagi peserta didik yang sangat aktif bertanya, 58% sangat aktif menjawab, 53% sangat aktif berpendapat, dan yang terakhir 44% bagi peserta didik yang sangat aktif dalam bekerja sama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Quizizz berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik dengan Indikator Pencapaian Hasil ≥ 80% KKM 72 dan meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam aspek kemampuan bertanya, menjawab, berpendapat, dan kerja sama pada siklus 1, 2, dan 3. ***** This research aims to find out the use of Quizizz media to increase result of social sciences learning and learning activity of students. This is researched in VII-E class with 36 students in Junior High School of 97 Jakarta. The method used in this research is classroom action research that uses three cycles, each of cycles consists of four steps; Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. According to research,the learning result occurs enhancement each of cycle. In the first cycle as big as 42% (15 students reaches score above minimum completeness criteria 72) with average of learning result 67, second cycle becomes 67% (24 students reaching score above minimum completeness criteria 72) with average of learning result 77, and in the third cycle becomes 83% (30 students reaching score above minimum completeness criteria 72) with average of learning result 82. Besides the increasing of learning result, student activity of each cycle also improves, that's in first cycle of activity of very active students in the ability to asking questions, replying questions, giving an opinion, and cooperating was 0%. Then in second cycle there was an increase in activeness of students who were very active in their ability to asking questions 28%, replying questions 44%, giving an opinion 33%, cooperating 36%. The last in third cycle at the students who are very active in the aspect of ability increased to 36% for asking questions, 58% very active for replying questions, 53% very active for giving an opinion, and 44% very active for cooperating. It can be concluded that the use of Quizizz media can improving the result of social studies learning refer to achievements indicators with the average 72 and also increasing the learning activity in VII-E class at Junior High School of 97 Jakarta for their ability to asking, replying question, then giving an opinion either cooperating each other at first, second, and third cycles.
