Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh academic resilience terhadap student engagement mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 400 mahasiswa/i Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang masuk pada tahun 2020, 2021, dan 2022. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner melalui Google Form. Data yang sudah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan statistika deskriptif dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Pada penelitian ini, hasil menunjukkan bahwa academic resilience memiliki pengaruh terhadap student engagement (p-value < 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa academic resilience memberikan kontribusi kepada student engagement sebesar 43,1%, dan 56,9% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. Dengan demikian, mahasiswa perlu meningkatkan academic resilience dengan terus meningkatkan motivasi belajar agar dapat meningkatkan student engagement pada setiap proses pembelajaran di kampus. ***** The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between academic resilience and student engagement at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The sample in this study was 400 students of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta with 2020, 2021, and 2022 batches, who were taken using a cluster sampling technique, with the data coming from questioner filling through the Google Form. Then with the data collected, it is rearranged with analysis using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression tests. In this research, the data shows that academic resilience has influence in student engagement (p-value being lower than 0,05). The results showed that academic resilience contributed to student engagement by 43.1%, and the other 56.9% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. So, students need to increase academic resilience by continuing to increase learning motivation in order to increase student engagement in every learning process.
