Abstract

***** The development of science and technology (IPTEK) is growing very rapidly. The development of science and technology during the COVID-19 pandemic had a big impact, and had an impact on one aspect of life, namely education and training. Education is the most important aspect in human learning life, learning and learning has various methods, one of which is blended learning which is currently the method of choice during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the blended learning method on the learning motivation of participants in the CPNS basic training organized by the Ministry of Communication and Information Education and Training Center. The method used is a survey method by distributing questionnaires to research subjects. The subjects in this study were participants in the 2022 Kemenkominfo basic civil servant training batch 4 batches 23 and 24, totaling 50 people. The questionnaire in this study uses a Likert scale. The analysis technique used is linearity and causality test. The results of the study show that the magnitude of the effect is equal to r = 0.76, where testing the hypothesis H0 there was no significant relationship then H0 was rejected and H1 had a significant relationship then H1 was accepted, with tcount > ttable of 8.106 > 1.982. The conclusion is that the use of the blended learning method has an effect on the participants learning motivation of 57.80%.
