Abstract

Pendidikan Inklusif saat ini tengah jadi sorotan secara global, khususnya di Indonesia. Akan tetapi jumlah anak berkebutuhan khusus belum terdata dengan detail, khususnya di sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian survei dengan metode sensus ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai jumlah anak berkebutuhan khusus secara keseluruhan, berdasarkan jenis klasifikasinya, berdasarkan jenjang kelasnya serta berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan usianya di sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif kecamatan Tanah Abang Jakarta Pusat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 17 sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif di kecamatan Tanah Abang Jakarta Pusat. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan observasi dan wawancara dengan guru atau kepala sekolah. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan diolah menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif, hasil disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan diagram. Hasil dari penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu terdapat 291 anak berkebutuhan khusus dari 17 sekolah dasar negeri penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif di kecamatan Tanah Abang Jakarta Pusat. Jenis klasifikasi anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan jumlah terbanyak yaitu hambatan intelektual dengan jumlah 104 anak (36%) dan lamban belajar dengan jumlah 96 anak (33%). Mayoritas berada di kelas IV dan V dengan jumlah 82 anak. Dominan pada anak laki-laki di rentang usia 11-12 tahun. ***** Inclusive education is currently receiving global attention, especially in Indonesia. However, the number of children with special needs has not been extensively documented, particularly within inclusive educational institutions. This survey research, conducted through a census method, aims to gather information about the overall number of children with special needs, categorized by their specific types of disabilities, educational levels, as well as their gender and age, in inclusive educational institutions within the Tanah Abang sub-district of Central Jakarta. The population for this study consists of 17 inclusive educational institutions in the Tanah Abang sub-district of Central Jakarta. Data collection for this research involves observations and interviews with teachers or school principals. The collected data is processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques, and the results are presented in the form of tables and diagrams. The findings of the study reveal a total of 291 children with special needs across the 17 public primary schools that provide inclusive education in the Tanah Abang sub-district of Central Jakarta. The most prevalent type of classification among children with special needs is intellectual disabilities, with a total of 104 children (36%), followed by learning disabilities, totaling 96 children (33%). The majority of these children are in the fourth and fifth grades, comprising 82 children. The demographic trend indicates a predominance of male students aged between 11 and 12 years old.
