Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran hasil Jas wanita menggunakan bahan utama Tenun Ikat Troso melalui penggunaan interfacing cufner yang dinilai berdasarkan standar tailoring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Eksperimen pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model desain Pre-Experimental dan bentuk desain One-Shot Case Study. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket pada lima panelis ahli sebagai subyek penelitian. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa karakteristik interfacing cufner dapat menjadikan Tenun Ikat Troso sebagai alternatif bahan utama pembuatan jas wanita. Dengan kekuarangan pada Tenun Ikat Troso interfacing cufner dapat menjadikan Tenun dalam keadaan baik sehingga tekstur tenun memiliki kekenyalan dan menjadi lebih tebal sesuai karakteristik bahan pembuatan jas wanita berdasarkan aspek kerah, lapel/kelepak, badan muka, badan belakang, sisi, facing, kampuh, lengan, lining/vuring, lubang kancing, saku, dan keliman memiliki hasil yang baik, dimana aspek tersebut masuk dalam kriteria jas tailoring yang baik. Namun hal yang harus diperhatikan pada penggunaan lining, dimana lining harus lebih besar dari bahan utama pada sisi dan tepi bawah karena bahan tenun mudah mulur. Kata kunci : Tenun Ikat Troso, Jas wanita, Tailoring, Interfacing Cufner. This research aims to acquire an overview about the result women jacket with material fabric Ikat Troso weave through using interfacing cufner which assessed based on tailoring standards. This research used quantitative approach Experimental method with Pre-Experimental design models and One-Shot Case Study design. The data obtained from the assessment is in the form questionnaire assisted by five expert panelists as research subject. The results of the research prove that the characteristics of cufner interfacing can make Troso Ikat Weaving as an alternative garment in the manufacture of women's jacket, with deficiencies in the weaving in good condition so that the texture of the weaving has elasticity and becomes thicker according to the characteristics of material for making women’s jacket based on aspects of the collar, lapel, front, back, sides, facing, seam, arms, lining, buttonholes, pockets, and hems have the same good results, where those aspects fall into the criteria of a good tailoring suit. But things that must be considered in the use of lining, where the lining must be larger than the garment on the sides and bottom edge because the weaving fabric easily stretches.
