Abstract

***** This study aims to obtain empirical data regarding teacher self-efficacy for implementing inclusive education in Pemalang City. The sample in this study were 71 teachers from 7 schools providing inclusive education in Pemalang City. Sampling using tottaly sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative approach to the survey method. The data collection for this study used the Teacher Efficacy for Inclusive Practices (TEIP) instrument which had been adapted to the Indonesian version consisting of 18 statements referring to the Likert scale in the form of six alternative answers using descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The results showed that the level of self-efficacy of teachers in inclusive schools was known to be 16.9% of respondents in the low self-efficacy category, 74.60% of respondents in the medium self-efficacy category and 8.5% of respondents in the high self-efficacy category regarding the implementation of inclusive education . So that it can be said that the self-efficacy of teachers providing inclusive education in Pemalang City is in the moderate category. This means that the teacher has enough confidence and hope in his ability to carry out indicators of inclusive teaching strategies, establish cooperation and manage the behavior of students with special needs, but have not yet optimized the abilities of all aspects that exist within him. So that they still need motivation to support them, but they are already in good efficacy which can have an impact on their self-confidence.
