Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh big five personality terhadap safety behavior pada karyawan generasi Z yang bekerja di industri pertambangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif menggunakan software SPSS versi 25. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan intrumen penelitian safety behavior scale dari Neal dan Griffin (2006) dan big five inventory-2 (BFI-2) dari Soto dan John (2017). Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 279 responden karyawan yang berusia 17-28 tahun diperoleh dengan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara bersama-sama terdapat pengaruh dimensi big five personality terhadap safety behavior pada karyawan generasi Z yang bekerja di industri pertambangan. Dimensi open mindedness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, dan negative emotionality tidak memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap safety behavior pada karyawan generasi Z yang bekerja di industri pertambangan. This study aims to determine the effect of big five personality on safety behavior on generation Z employees who work in the mining industry. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis methods using SPSS version 25 software. Data collection techniques using safety behavior scale research instruments from Neal and Griffin (2006) and big five inventory-2 (BFI-2) from Soto and John (2017) . The sample of this study totaled 279 respondents of employees aged 17-28 years obtained by convenience sampling techniques. The results showed together there was the influence of the big five Personality dimension on safety behavior on generation Z employees who work in the mining industry. Dimensions of open mindedness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and negative emotions do not make a significant contribution to safety behavior to generation Z employees who work in the mining industry.
