Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam mengenai pembelajaran tematik untuk peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus kelas 1 di SLBN 5 Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Data diikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipasi pasif, wawancara terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah dan guru kelas 1, dan dokumen, kemudian data dianalisis. Pemeriksaan dan pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan pembelajaran guru kreatif dalam mengambil sumber materi dari internet, hal tersebut dikarenakan tidak sinkronnya pokok bahasan kelas yang diajar dengan kemampuan peserta didik.Pada tahap proses pembelajaran anak di kelas 1 masih belajar sambil bermain, dikarenakan rentang umur peserta didik masih berusia 7 sampai 11 tahun dengan kekhususan autis, hambatan intelektual, hambatan pendengaran dan perkembangan kognitif yang berbeda-beda di SLBN 5 Kota Bengkulu.*****This study aims to describe in-depth thematic learning for students with special needs in grade 1 at SLBN 5 Bengkulu City. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the Miles and Huberman model. Data were collected through passive participant observation, structured interviews with the principal and grade 1 teachers, and documents, and then the data were analyzed. They are checking and checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that in the learning planning stage, teachers are creative in taking source material from the internet because the subject matter of the class being taught is not synchronized with students' abilities. At the stage of the learning process, children in grade 1 are still learning while playing because the age range of students is still 7 to 11 years with autistic specialties, intellectual barriers, hearing barriers, and different cognitive development in SLBN 5 Bengkulu City.
