Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa melalui model problem based learning pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas IV SDN Rawaterate 03 Pagi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2023-September 2023 semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model siklus penelitian dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melalui empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Adapun siklus I memperoleh 70,56% atau setara dengan 17 siswa yang mencapai nilai >75 dari jumlah siswa sebanyak 25 orang siswa. Pada siklus II hasil keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila yang mendapat nilai >75 sebanyak 18 orang siswa atau dengan persentase sebesar 72,16%. Pada siklus III terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan sudah mencapai target dengan memperoleh indikator keberhasilan sebesar 86,4% atau yang mendapat nilai >75 sebanyak 22 orang siswa. Adapun persentase instrumen pemantau tindakan guru pada siklus I pertemuan 1 sebesar 70%, pertemuan 2 sebesar 75% dan instrumen pemantau tindakan siswa pada siklus I pertemuan 1 sebesar 70%, pertemuan 2 sebesar 75%. Kemudian persentase instrumen pemantau tindakan guru pada siklus II pertemuan 1 sebesar 80%, pertemuan 2 sebesar 85% dan instrumen pemantau tindakan siswa pada siklus II pertemuan 1 sebesar 85%, pertemuan 2 sebesar 85%. Selanjutnya persentase instrumen pemantau tindakan guru pada siklus III pertemuan 1 sebesar 90%, pertemuan 2 sebesar 90% dan instrumen pemantau tindakan siswa pada siklus III pertemuan 1 sebesar 90%, pertemuan 2 sebesar 90%. Implikasi dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah bahwa keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas IV SD meningkat melalui model problem based learning di dalam proses pembelajarannya. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, problem based learning, Pendidikan Pancasila This classroom action research aims to improve students' higher order thinking skills through a problem based learning model in Pancasila Education learning for class IV students at SDN Rawaterate 03 Pagi. The subjects of this research were class IV students with a total of 25 students. This research was conducted in August 2023-September 2023, odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This classroom action research was carried out using the research cycle model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This research was carried out through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The first cycle obtained 70.56% or the equivalent of 17 students who achieved a score of >75 out of a total of 25 students. In cycle II, the results of students' higher order thinking skills in learning Pancasila Education were 18 students who got a score of >75 or a percentage of 72.16%. In cycle III, there was an increase in students' higher order thinking skills in learning Pancasila Education and 22 students had achieved the target by obtaining a success indicator of 86.4% or 22 students scored >75. The percentage of instruments monitoring teacher actions in cycle I, meeting 1, was 70%, meeting 2 was 75% and instruments monitoring student actions in cycle I, meeting 1, was 70%, meeting 2 was 75%. Then the percentage of instruments monitoring teacher actions in cycle II, meeting 1, was 80%, meeting 2 was 85% and instruments monitoring student actions in cycle II, meeting 1, was 85%, meeting 2 was 85%. Furthermore, the percentage of instruments monitoring teacher actions in cycle III, meeting 1, was 90%, meeting 2 was 90% and instruments monitoring student actions in cycle III, meeting 1, was 90%, meeting 2 was 90%. The implication of this classroom action research is that the higher order thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students improve through the problem based learning model in the learning process.
