Abstract

Kebakaran ialah suatu peristiwa atau.kejadian munculnya api yang tidak terkendali serta dapat membahayakan keselamatan jiwa maupun harta benda. Kerugian yang ditimbulkan oleh kebakaran antara lain kerugian jiwa, kerugian materi, penurunan produktivitas, gangguan bisnis, dan kerugian sosial. Kebakaran selain menimbulkan lidah api yang dapat dilihat menimbulkan pula partikel asap yang bisa dihirup. Kebakaran tidak jauh dari banyaknya asap yang menyelimuti objek yang terbakar sehingga asap dengan mudah dapat dihirup oleh seseorang tanpa terkecuali diantaranya seseorang yang memiliki keterbatasan atau disabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan dan respon penyandang tunanetra terhadap resiko kebakaran di gedung sekolah khususnya di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah dengan memberikan kuesioner yang dikelompokkan menjadi 3 komponen sikap. 3 komponen sikap tersebut ialah komponen kognitif, komponen afektif, dan komponen konatif. Hasil yang didapati yaitu bahwa komponen kognitif, komponen afektif, dan komponen konatif dari penyandang tunanetra tentang resiko kebakaran gedung sekolah di wilayah DKI Jakarta ialah masuk kategori baik berdasarkan perhitungan total skor yang didapat hasil pengisian kuesioner. Kata Kunci: Kebakaran, Penyandang Tunanetra, Sikap, Pengetahuan, Respon ***** A fire is an event or occurrence of uncontrolled fire that can endanger the safety of life and property. Losses caused by fire include loss of life, material loss, decreased productivity, business disruption and social loss. Apart from causing flames that can be seen, fires also produce smoke particles that can be inhaled. The fire was not far from the large amount of smoke covering the burning motorbike taxi so that the smoke could easily be inhaled by anyone, including someone who had limitations or disabilities. This research aims to determine the knowledge and response of blind people to the risk of fire in school buildings, especially in the DKI Jakarta area. The research method used was by administering a questionnaire which was grouped into 3 attitudinal components. The 3 components of attitude are the cognitive component, affective component and conative component. The results obtained are that the cognitive component, affective component and conative component of blind people regarding the risk of school building fires in the DKI Jakarta area are in the good category from total result questionnaire.
