Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran yang berbentuk elektronik berbasis mind mapping dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and development). Adapun model penelitian yang digunakan dan dijadikan sebagai dasar atau pedoman pada proses penelitian ini adalah model 4D yang terdiri dari tahap : 1) Define, 2) Design,3) Develop,4) Disseminate. Peneliti hanya melaksanakan proses penelitian hanya pada tahap develop saja karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Pengembangan ini menghasilkan sebuah modul elektronik berbasis mind mapping dalam pembelajaran IPS di Kelas IV sekolah dasar. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuisioner. Proses expert appraisal dilakukan pada tiga ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil dari ketiga ahli menghasilkan 89% untuk keseluruhan dan dapat dinyatakan sangat baik. Proses uji coba pengembangan pada peserta didik menghasilkan 90% pada tahap one to one, small group, dan field test. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, modul elektronik, mind mapping , Pembelajaran IPS; Kelas IV. ***** The purpose of this research is to produce learning media, one of which is electronic learning media based on mind mapping in social studies learning in class IV elementary schools. The research method used in this research is research and development. The research model used as a basis or guideline for this research process is the 4D model which consists of 4 stages: 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, 4) Disseminate. Researchers only carry out the research process only at the development stage due to time and cost limitations. This development produces an electronic module based on mind mapping in social studies learning in Class IV elementary schools. Data collection instruments used interviews and questionnaires. The expert appraisal process was carried out by three experts, namely material experts, media experts and language experts. The results of the three experts yielded 89% for the whole and can be described as excellent. The development trial process on students produced 90% results in the one to one, small group and field test stages.
