Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Multiple-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) dalam meningkatkan minat membaca anak dengan hambatan emosi dan tingkah laku. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa sekolah dasar kelas 3 SLB E Handayani, Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian subjek tunggal dengan desain penelitian A-B-A. Indikator minat membaca yang digunakan, yaitu 1) perilaku patuh membaca, 2) perilaku fokus membaca, dan 3) perilaku duduk diam. Sistem pengukuran data dilakukan menggunakan pencatatan interval. Teknis analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis visual dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya perubahan positif terhadap ketiga target perilaku, terutama perilaku patuh membaca. Di sisi lain, perilaku fokus membaca dan duduk diam membutuhkan intervensi lanjutan agar minat membaca tumbuh menjadi sebuah perilaku. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa model MTSS dapat diimplementasikan sebagai alternatif solusi dalam meningkatkan minat membaca anak dengan hambatan emosi dan tingkah laku berdasarkan kelebihan dan kebutuhan belajar masing-masing individu. A comprehensive and continuous intervention is needed to constrain students' behavior in class, particularly to increase students' interest in learning. Thus, this research aims to determine the effect of the multiple-tiered system of support (MTSS) framework on children's EBD reading interests. The subject of this research is a 3rd grade student in SLB E Handayani, East Jakarta. This research manages single-subject research as a method with an A-B-A design. The data was collected using an interval recording system and analyzed through visual analysis. The result shows that the MTSS framework has successfully increased children's interest in EBD reading. This finding suggests that implementing the MTSS framework can be an effective strategy for improving students' engagement and motivation in the classroom. Additionally, it highlights the importance of providing targeted support and interventions to address students' individual needs and interests.
