Abstract
Penelitian ini terutama bertujuan untuk menguji peranan job satisfaction sebagai mediator bagi work environment dan work life balance terhadap employee engagement, di Bank KB Bukopin. Pengembangan model kerangka penelitian dan hipotesis dilakukan berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka. Menggunakan data yang dikumpulkan dari 893 karyawan bank. Penelitian ini menguji hipotesis menggunakan pemodelan persamaan struktural (SEM) dengan alat bantu analisis IBM SPSS v25 dan IBM AMOS v24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job satisfaction merupakan mediator bagi work environment dan work life balance terhadap employee engagement dan berpengaruh secara signifikan dan positif. Work environment dan work life balance serta job satisfaction berpengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement. Novelti dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa job satisfaction merupakan mediator bagi work environment dan work life balance terhadap employee engagement. memberikan wawasan dan saran yang berguna bagi manajemen di bank tentang pengembangan peran job satisfaction karyawan mereka peningkatan work environment dan work life balance serta menerapkan praktik sumber daya manusia yang terkait dengan employee engagement di tempat kerja ******** This research mainly aims to examine the role of job satisfaction as a mediator for work environment and work life balance on employee engagement, at Bank KB Bukopin. The development of the research framework model and hypothesis was carried out based on a literature review. Using data collected from 893 bank employees. This research tests the hypothesis using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the analysis tools IBM SPSS v25 and IBM AMOS v24. The research results show that job satisfaction is a mediator for work environment and work life balance on employee engagement and has a significant and positive effect. Work environment and work life balance and job satisfaction have a direct positive and significant effect on employee engagement. The novelty of the results of this research is that job satisfaction is a mediator for work environment and work life balance on employee engagement. provide useful insights and suggestions for management at the bank regarding developing the role of job satisfaction of their employees, improving the work environment and work life balance as well as implementing human resource practices related to employee engagement in the workplace.
